Andy Roddick Seen Out And About With Wife

Posted on July 08, 2009 at 7:56 AM

Andy Roddick isn’t someone normally featured on INO, but he’s hot, so I couldn’t resist. The athlete was spotted out with his wife, Brooklyn Decker, shopping in the Apple Soho Store in New York City.

Andy was recently defeated at Wimbeldon by Roger Federer after an extremely close game. He definitely proved to be quite a match for Roger. Did you have a chance to catch the game? Are you a fan?

  1. I’ve played tennis for years now and am both a fan of Federer and Roddick, though I will admit I was happy with the outcome of the match. It was an unbelievable final, and multiple commentators said that Andy played better tennis that day and I agree. But when you’re playing for over four hours and the score is 15-14 in the fifth set, it becomes a game of endurance and luck– and Federer had both on his side. Now that Federer has beat all possible records in Grand Slam history, I am sure that more people will shift their focus from him to Andy, given how well he performed at Wimbledon this year.

  2. Hahaha! I’m so out of the loop on some of these things. I had him confused with the dude Madonna was dating, and thought, “He plays tennis, too?”

  3. Yeah I caught the game… my man worked hard in that match! :) But yeah it was so sad when he lost. His eyes were welling up with tears and everything! I wish I had been there to comfort him. He’s married, yes but I will pretend like she is not in these pictures.
I love tennis for sure! And it’s definitely fun to watch the boys play. ;)

  4. The match was great- didn’t know who to root for. Roger, in general, is a classier sportsman than Andy, but the way I justify it is by saying that Andy still has many years of great tennis ahead of him. And marriage supposedly makes men better so hopefully he will be a top player in the next few years.

  5. Trust me- he looks better with the cap on. In an All American kind of way and receding hairline kind of way- LOL

  10. yeah, my husband supported Roger, I was supporting Roddick. Funny, because my 20 months old started also screaming “Roddi! Roddi!”

  11. He is so incredibly attractive & she is gorgeous, so they make a really beautiful couple. But, yes, I watched the game since I’m a fan of his & was so sad when he lost since it was so close. Seeing him be so disappointed & cry was terrible :(

  12. I was rooting for him, too, although I must admit I’m not a huge fan of the game.

On an unrelated note, he reminds me of Sean William Scott.

  13. He played so hard! Every time Roger got ahead by one, Andy came back to tie it. The longest running final round of tennis ever. What a game!! I haven’t watched a tennis match like that ever. Great job Andy :)
