Kelly Clarkson wants to date someone who has a normal job.
The ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ singer is keen to find love with someone who isn’t famous because it would help keep her grounded.

“I don’t know if I could go out with a celebrity. I’d rather have someone that’s, I don’t know, an accountant. I don’t know, a normal job. I love my job, but I like having my separate life. But you can’t help who you fall in love with, so I don’t know who I will end up with.”

The 27-year-old star is currently single, and admits she worries she will never find a special someone because of her punishing work schedule.
She said:

“I’m not dating anyone. I just had this conversation with my girlfriends out on the road, my back-up singers. We’re all single, and all the men are married.

“I don’t ever meet anyone because we’re constantly around married men.

Unless I am going to date a guitar tech or roadie I’m not sure where I will meet the right guy.”

Hey! Don’t shoot down that idea Kelly – Julia Roberts is pretty happy with her life right now.

Kelly – who shot to fame after winning the first series of ‘American Idol’ in 2002 – has also voiced her concerns about the validity of judge Paula Abdul’s departure from the program.
The singer remains unconvinced Paula has actually left, telling Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up radio show:

“Are they trying to do that for drama? I totally think they’re doing that for drama. I know those producers – they’re doing that for drama. She’s totally probably going to come back.”
