Man oh man is it hot in NYC today! Jennifer Aniston kept cool with a little help from her assistant while filming ‘The Bounty‘ today in NYC. The actress was also seen on a balcony in Chelsea talking on her cell phone in between takes.

I wonder how many more weeks she has to complete this film? I’m ready to start seeing Jen on a new movie!

I have to admit, I’m kind of surprised by this. It’s not like major celebrities to criticize each other’s work, but Brad Pitt apparently has no qualms about it. He gave an interview to German magazine Stern about his new film, ‘Inglourious Basterds.’

“The second World War could still deliver more stories and films, but I
believe that Quentin [Tarantino, director] put a cover on that pot. With Basterds, everything than can be said to this genre has been said,” Pitt tells the German magazine Stern. “The film destroys every symbol. The work is done, end of story.”

Apparently, the fact that Tom Cruise’s WWII movie, ‘Valkyrie,’ was based on a true event (an attempt to assassinate Hitler) didn’t impress Brad. When the interviewer asked him about ‘Valkyrie,’ he had this to say:

“It was a ridiculous movie.”

I’m guessing Tom is going to take the high road and say nothing. Brad’s probably at a point in his career where he’s more willing to say whatever’s on his mind.

It’s sarcastic – we get that – but what do you think about Julia Stiles poking fun at eco fashion?

Take a look at this new website she created talking about a fictitious clothing line she created made out of newspaper and disposable floor cloth.

"I met this homeless man who had never owned a shirt in his life. He had taken his pants and worn them as a shirt and I thought it was so creative.
"He was liberated from the conventions of fashion." The actress also found odd inspiration for her newspaper suit, joking, "I saw all these children sleeping on the streets and they only had newspapers to cover them up and I just wish that Americans could be so open-minded."

The ‘Melrose Place’ producers have never made a secret about their interest in having Heather Locklear reprise her role as Amanda Woodward. Now, it sounds like Heather is considering taking them up on their offer.

"We’re huge fans of hers," executive producer Todd Slavkin said of
Locklear during the CW’s portion of the Television Critics
Association’s summer press tour. The most important criteria for
inviting alumni back, he said, was: "Does it feel organic? Does it not
feel contrived? That’s really what’s important to us."

The CW and Heather’s rep declined to comment. There’s also no word on whether or not fellow ‘Melrose Place’ alum (and Heather’s current boyfriend) Jack Wagner is interested in reprising his role, too.

This actually isn’t as bizarre as it sounds. Nadya Suleman’s attorney, Jeff Czech, told Radar Online that Nadya was surprised by the footage when she watched the Fox special herself earlier this week.

"She was shocked to see some of the chaos of the scenes in the show but she understands the show has its own production agenda."

Jeff himself feels the show (which was entirely based on Radar Online’s footage) portrayed Nadya as:

"a normal person, a real mother."

Now, regardless of how you may feel about Nadya, I can actually see this. When you’re in the middle of a situation, it can be hard to appreciate how it looks to outsiders.

Yet I don’t think the chaos was a result of the producers’ agenda (i.e., editing), do you? With all the chaos surrounding her after the birth of the octuplets, I doubt any editing was necessary!
