Britney Spears takes her sons to yet another Broadway musicial while Britney is in NYC performing for the 2nd leg of her North American tour. First they got to see The Little Mermaid earlier this week, and now Sean Preston and Jayden James were treated to ‘Shrek The Musical‘. How fun!

Britney took her Circus act to Madison Square Garden Wednesday night with her troupe of dancers and performers. Though panned by critics, the fans seemed to have fun, as three on them were removed for dancing too suggestively.

Interesting… Isn’t this the same woman who gyrated with a snake in a sequin bra, singing "I’m a slave for you"? My how times have changed : )

Seems celebs either go towards one opposite extreme or the other. You have those that are ready to strip down at a moment’s notice and then you have theothers who swear they will NEVER go nude for a film.Anna Paquin thinks that taking her clothes off is no big deal.

"People are just too uptight when it comes to nudity. I don’t see what the big deal is about showing people as they actually are and if they are having sex presumably they are naked. On my planet they are anyway. I have no problem with it."

Glad to see her doing so much better now. After spending some time in the hospital, Mischa Barton is back on the scene. She explains her hiatus by saying,

"I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it
was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once."

Then she also had some medical problems that compounded things for her.

Mischa had a "terrible" wisdom tooth surgery – a procedure she says went wrong and is "still just healing."

"I
had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn’t
take those during work," she said of the procedure. "So it’s been a
nightmare."

Fortunately Mischa is doing much better now.

"I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while," she
reveals. "Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have
to get the most stressed out just to feel better again. I got
completely stressed out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel
really in control."

Still, she wishes that the incident could have happened in another city.

"The funny thing is, if all this happened in New York, no one would
care," she says. "New York lets you be who you are, and people aren’t
as judgmental. I’m so glad to be back here."

This is very exciting for Kim Kardashian. Since I’m sure she’s been working on building her brand, the logical next step is producing. After she finishes filming up with ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians,’ the star is planning on producing a reality show about her friends Jonathan Cheban and Simon Huck’s crazy lives in the PR world. It will debut in 2010.

"I’ve definitely seen the ins and outs of reality TV. I definitely love reality TV shows. It’s something I’m passionate about."

"It’ll show all the ins-and-outs or PR. It’s going to be really fun.
It’ll show how there’s lots of drama and crisis in the PR world.

Every week we’ll have a
different celebrity and a different crisis and drama," she says. "The
great thing about Jonathan and Simon is that they focus on corporate PR
and building brands; they don’t represent any individuals, so they see
the bigger picture. They see how to make a celebrity into a brand. I’ve
seen so many things go so close to going wrong, and then they fix
everything."

Kourtney Kardashian stopped by the E! Entertainment offices with her sisterKhloe Kardashian just a few minutes ago. She ran into Giuliana Rancic and the three posed for a picture.

Check out that growing belly. I love this stage. You aren’t to the point where it PAINS you to move and you actually look pregnant (not bloated like the first trimester).

I wonder if Kourtney is prepared for all that motherhood brings? Then again… who is really EVER prepared?

Now that he has filed for divorce, Eddie Cibrian has issued another public statement.

"From the outset I have made a conscious
decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the
press," the actor said in a statement to Access Hollywood. "While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children."

"I love my boys very much. I want only the best for them and am committed to being a devoted father," he continued.

"I will continue to be respectful and
sensitive to this issue by not doing interviews about this ongoing
private matter," he said. "I wish everyone would do the same."

I actually suspect Eddie means what he says. I’m sure he didn’t MEAN to crush the lives of everyone else involved. Sure he and LeAnn are happy – but what about everyone else trying to pick up the pieces?

And what of his estranged wife’s (Brandi Glanville) assertion that Eddie and LeAnn Rimes are planning a trip to Mexico? Is it the best time for something like this?

Hopefully Eddie and Brandi will find a way to shield their sons as much as they can from this mess… meaning – keep the argument out of the public eye.
