My goodness! Fashion Week is wiping me OUT. I actually caught a cold, am completely run down and had to MISS THE MTV MUSIC AWARDS BECAUSE OF IT. I just couldn’t do it – and I wish I kept the award show in mind when I did this week’s schedule because I’m absolutely regretting the decision right now.

Fashion Week is a lot of waiting, and pushing, and waiting and… waiting. Even if you have a show every hour, you have to check into each event and then wait for the show to start (which is NEVER on time). The crowds are wild and pushy and not everything is next to the main tent which means lots of cab rides and rushing. My word!

Last year I was sponsored by Oral B, so I never waited for anything. There was no line for me. I had a VIP badge and walked around wherever I wanted. This year is VERY VERY DIFFERENT! LOLOLOLOL!

A friend of mine calls it the “Fashion Week Flu” because all the bloggers end up getting it. I just came down with it earlier than expected.

Celebs obviously don’t have to deal with this! Celebrities like Anna Wintour, Alessandra Ambrosio, Tim Gunn, Rachel McAdams, Kelly Rowland, Mena Suvari, Tori Spelling, Lizzie Grubman, and Kristen Johnston either get in from a back door or are whisked right through the crowd. Lucky! Lucky! That’s how it is when you have pull right?

While we are all online or by our computers waiting for the MTV Movie Awards to come on, here’s some new music to listen to by Beyonce. The song is called ‘Control’. Will it be a chart buster? Tell me what you think?

On Saturday, FITNESS magazine partnered with New York Road Runners for the eighth-annual FITNESS Mind, Body, Spirit Games hosted by Ugly Betty’s Ana Ortiz. This fun filled day devoted to health and fitness featured activities for the whole family, including both a men’s and women’s 4-Mile run along with kids’ races (age 2-12). Over 4,500 men, women and kids packed Central Park to participate in the event.

Health and motivational expert Bob Harper led stretch classes at the Mind, Body, Spirit Festival while WNBA players hooped it up for the crowd.

Ana kicked off the race and cheered on runners at the finish line. She also accepted a check for $10,000 on behalf of Developing Artists Theater Company, an organization dedicated to providing eight to nineteen year olds from culturally diverse backgrounds with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the performing arts.

Nice to see so many people taking charge of their health.

Drew Barrymore made an appearance on Live @ eTalk at the CTV Building in Toronto, Canada to promote her new movie ‘Whip It’. I love how fashionably open she is to different styles. One day we will see Drew in a sweet summer dress and the next she’s wearing suspenders and mesh red gloves! You just can’t beat that.
