This is amazing. Simply amazing.

A group of 50 politicians are sick and tired of all the photoshopped images and want to put a law in place which will FORCE magazines, billboards, and product packaging to say which shots have been “digitally enhanced”.

Campaigning MP Valerie Boyer, of President Nicolas Sarkozy’s UMP party, said the wording should read:”Retouched photograph aimed at changing a person’s physical appearance”.

“These photos can lead people to believe in a reality that does not actually exist, and have a detrimental effect on adolescents. “Many young people, particularly girls, do not know the difference between the virtual and reality, and can develop complexes from a very young age.

“In some cases this leads to anorexia or bulimia and very serious health problems. It’s not just a question of public health, but also a way of protecting the consumer.”

What do you think about their decision? I think it is a wonderful idea, but won’t EVERY picture just have that warning on it then? LOL. I really do think it’s a step in the right direction though.

I am VERY excited about this new series because I was a HUGE fan of the original when I was younger. Take a look at ABC’s newest show, ‘V’, and let me know what you think. It is set to debut the first week of November.

In other news, did you hear that Heidi Montag will be GUEST HOSTING The View? It has been announced she will be filling in for Elisabeth, who’s on maternity leave until mid-October. Wonder if ratings will go up or down that day?

Kirsten Dunst was seen leaving New York City Supreme Court after testifying against a man accused of stealing possessions from her New York hotel.

Also in NYC wasJennifer Garner who was spotted leaving ‘The Martha Stewart Show.’ Jennifer seems very upbeat; it looks like she enjoyed her time with Martha! She looks very pulled together in her dress and pumps, too. I wonder if they did any cooking?

Drew Barrymore really opened up to Parade! She talked about a wide range of topic, including what’s important to her personally, staying sober, and taking charge of her professional life.

What has she learned about life’s ups and downs?

“I’ve stopped believing in happy endings. I’ve started believing in good days. At the end of my movie, there’s honesty. There’s truth. There’s peace. What tomorrow will bring is still in question. There is a joy that’s earned by failure or triumph. All those things add up to teach us, if we are open to it.”

Dealing with long-term sobriety:

“No, I’m not [completely sober]. And I don’t claim to be – quite the opposite. I’ve tried to find the balance. I hope it’s balanced.”
