Mischa Barton Looking At Films

Mischa Barton is letting the cancellation of her show ‘The Beautiful Life’ get her down: she’s already looking at other projects.

“There’s a bunch of projects I always wanted to make, so I’m going back to thinking about things again. I just started looking at films.”

Meanwhile, she’s making New York City her home base.

“I grew up in the city, so there’s a lot to love about it. All my close friends are here. I feel it’s a fun city to lay low in and you get treated right.”

Well, good for her for not letting her show’s cancellation get her down! Here’s Mischa and a friend trying to get a cab- part of life in the city :) What would you like to see Mischa do next?

  1. She needs to take voice lessons, so that her speaking voice is a couple of octaves higher. She also needs to hit the gym.

She’s not a bad looking girl, but she sounds like a truck driver.

  2. That dress looks like if she raised her hand any higher to hail the cab, we would have see a whole lot more…yikes….

  3. Funny, I remember her saying similar things when she was in Paris and also in London. She thinks that living in these cities will help her but it not the case. She hasn’t been in a good movie since the Sixth Sense. She should stick with TV.

  4. Why not trying some voice acting for a cartoon? I’m sure that she could do well in something like that :)

Actors seem to have a blast taking part in roles for children’s films. :) (and hey, it’s work) ;)

  5. Hmmm… I liked her in season 1 of The O.C… I can’t imagine her doing anything else though. Good luck to finding work.

  6. i think she needs to focus on herself for awhile, stop trying so hard to find work, it’s clearly taking its toll on her
