PETA is really angry with Paris Hilton over her recent adoption of a pet pig.

According to TMZ, PETA claims:

she’s setting a “wretched example” by treating animals like they’re “as disposable as her friends and fiances.”

Wow, that’s pretty harsh! They went on to say:

“The Chihuahuas, ferrets, and kinkajous she’s paraded through her home in the past were not accessories, and pot-bellied pigs aren’t either.”

Do you think she’s being irresponsible? Or did the media just falsely portray her as a bad pet owner?

“One Tree Hill” actress Sophia Bush sits down with talk show host Bonnie Hunt to talk about the long-running teen show, the role her teachers played in her life and her thoughts on young Hollywood on “The Bonnie Hunt Show” airing Tuesday, October 13.

Sophia tells Bonnie that she was honored to be asked to join the organization, “Teachers Count,” because her teacher were so influential in who she has become and how she prepares for roles which she takes very seriously.

“I think particularly with young people in the entertainment industry the focus has gotten inappropriate. When people can have careers which consist of nothing but going to parties…and they get paid to go to parties because they’ve been less than clothed…it’s not something I can believe in.”

“The thing that I find very detrimental when that example is being set for young women is even should you be this sort of person who will lower yourself enough to live by an, ‘I”ll do anything to be famous’ standard, it doesn’t last.

Because on “One Tree Hill” she plays an, “out of control sexpot girl and had a nervous breakdown every morning at work before I had to shoot the scenes,” she is always asked what she thinks is sexy and she always says, “I think smart is sexy because that’s all that last.”

Kendra Wilkinson has been living in Indianapolis since her husband, football player Hank Baskett, was picked up by the Colts. She tells E! News that she’s planning to purchase a home back in Los Angeles around February:

“It’s such a tease, because I want to be settled,” says Kendra
“But I have to stay strong for Hank, it’s his job. It was really hard on him when the Eagles released him. I’m here to be his backbone, and though it’s hard on me, I didn’t want to make it hard on him.”

Her husband’s new teammates and their wives/girlfriends have been very supportive. She’s even attending a ladies’ luncheon at Peyton Manning’s house on Wednesday.

“They’ve all been very sweet so far,” says Kendra. “My first game was two weeks ago, and they were all really, really nice.”

She is enjoying the non-existent paparazzi scene in Indiana. But the L.A. paparazzi had better watch out when she returns, after her son is born in December:

“Consider me a mama grizzly bear,” says Kendra. “I’m definitely not going to put up with TMZ s–t at all. If I’m trying to get somewhere and I have my baby, trust me, I will attack.”

I bet a lot of celebrity moms can agree with her statement about the paps.

Are there any Jensen Ackles admirers here? He was snapped at the Vancouver Airport today. He even took time to pose with fans – I love when celebrities look like they enjoy meeting their fans (especially when they probably are in a rush at the airport). I just can’t say enough good things about Peter Facinelli. He is involved with so many good causes (like Alex’s Lemonade Stand), is an excellent actor, a great family man, and on and on. Peter sat down with MovieFone to share some thoughts on The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

“I think people should be excited about the action that the second one’s going to bring. We still have this love triangle between Rob, Kristen and Taylor that grows in the second one, but as a guy I love to see some action too, and we have a lot more action with the werewolves coming out in full form. That’s going to be fun to watch. It’s something that when you read the books you can imagine, but when you see it it’s a whole other thing.

“‘New Moon’ is going to have a lot more action than ‘Twilight,’ which I’m excited about, and then take the action in ‘New Moon’ and double it in ‘Eclipse.’ I get to be a part of that action, which is fun because Carlisle is this calm figure. I think the vampire brawls are going to be exciting.”

They asked Peter if he portrays Carlisle pretty true to the books:

“As an actor I read the books, then I read them again, then I read them again and then I put them down and read the script, which becomes my main focus,” he explained. “So by the time the [first] movie came out I didn’t remember what was or wasn’t in the books. I just saw the movie as a complete entity in itself. Nothing stuck out in my mind that should have been in the movie.”
