Jesse James Says Sandra Bullock Is Not A Part Of The Custody Dispute

I wondered why Janine Lindemulder focused so much on Sandra Bullock when talking about her custody dispute over five-year-old Sunny. Jesse James is the father and the one with legal custody!
Jesse apparently feels the same way.
“Sandra Bullock is not a party to this litigation,” [Jesse's attorney] Slifman says in a statement to PEOPLE. “Mr. James’s sole concern is for the safety, welfare and best interests of his daughter. The proper forum to resolve this case is in the courtroom.”
I guess I can see where having another woman parent your child would be especially troubling, and I can also see where mentioning Sandra would help Janine get on television in the first place.
Regarding Janine’s remarks, Jesse’s attorney described them as “inaccurate and unfortunate.”
This entire situation is sad. Hopefully they’ll be able to find a resolution that works best for Sunny.

As the wife of the biological father sandra does become involved in the lawsuit just not listed as the “party”. She can and will be called for deposition as part of the home life.
When does the birth mother get out of jail?
When this story first came out I was wondering why Sandra was the main person in this custody battle instead of Jesse. This explains it! And nobody is perfect but Sandra and Jesse seem like very grounded people that are good parents. Hope all works out well for them!

Janine the Porn/Drug Queen makes a hysterical claim recently on TV that James married her, then impregnated her, then ditched her. Actually, she got herself pregnant shortly after they started dating, Jesse married her months later (thinking it was the right thing to do) and then she attacked him violently with chef knives in his home. She was arrested and charged with domestic violence and he finally got smart, filed a restraining order and divorced her….
Good luck to her getting anything out of this other than more time in jail….pretty hard to prove your case, when you’ve flung fine Japanese steel at your husband; done alot of drugs; and not paid your taxes for over 6 years….years well before her exsistence with James.

Biology doesn’t automatically make somebody a fit parent.
Just because she is Sandra Bullock and looks sweet doesn’t necessarily mean that she is better than the child’s mother. After all, that other woman is still that little girl’s real mother.

Sandra does NOT need to stay out of this. She’ll be one of the people helping to raise the child if they get the custody they want. The judge will most likely ask questions regarding her involvement, too.

Exactly. Sandra needs to stay out of this. It is between the mother and father and the court will decide. I think it is funny that people hate the porn star but watch porn. Even inmates have rights.
Umm, I think that there is huge a huge difference between watching porn and wanting a crack head porn star to be the mother of a child and to raise that child! Porn stars have rights? Well, how about the rights of the child not to be raised in such a sick environment?!

It is a legal issue and she is not part of that decision. I don’t know where you are from but here these are the facts. The court only wants to know that the home is safe. They don’t want Sandra’s opinion. Sorry, but that’s the way it is.
I love Sandra Bullock. You can tell she’s not all full of herself and probably does live a relatively ‘normal’ life for a movie star.

Nor does a step parent automatically have great parenting skills or an expert testimony. There are some pretty awful steps too. Can’t generalize either way.
I do hope this issue gets resolved soon so the child doesn’t have to deal with the craziness for long.
I think it’s great that Bullock is helping this woman by caring for her child. I know it can be hard to have another motherly figure in your daughters life, but if you think of the child she will definitely be the better for it.
