Shaquille O’Neal’s Wife Files For Separation

Shaquille O’Neal’s wife of just under 7 years, Shaunie, has filed for legal separation today, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The interesting thing is that up until 2 days ago, she and their four kids were living in Florida. She apparently pulled them from their school and took them to Los Angeles. California is known for being much more favorable financially to spouses. Shaunie has filed for spousal and child support. According to TMZ, she claims she is a resident of L.A.
Shaunie claims in her papers to be a resident of L.A. since November 8, 2009 — 2 days ago. The date of separation is listed as 11-9-09.
Do you think it’s a bit odd to pull your kids and take up residency somewhere else just 2 days before filing? Do you think it was for financial reasons? I hope this doesn’t get ugly. I’m sure he’s worth a pretty penny.

Funny how no one mentions that Shack was chopping down one of her closest friends and she’s pregnant by one of Shack’s teammates. I would kick his ass to the curb too…and I hope she rolls in the dough.

I wouldn’t go to these conclusions right away. People usually move to be around a support system of friends and/or family. Perhaps she has a new partner. Who knows.
And women wonder why less and less men want to get married.

He is Mr. Nice Guy in public but he’s a selfish scumbag. Like the other poster said, he’s been cheating with one of her friends/teammates’ wife! They did file for divorce a while back because of the same issue. And he had the nerve to claim she was mishandling “his” money. Newsflash, once you get married it’s “our” money. Britney learned that the hard way…

Anonymous @ 1:07PM….. maybe men should stop being disgusting cheating pigs that think they can do whatever they want. When you get married you make a commitiment to that person. Men need to learn that and own that. Yes, women cheat too….but its not as commonplace. And Men just think they have “that right.” Well, you don’t.
just so happens she takes residence in CA were they have the 50/50 rule….hmmm
