When Ashlee Simpson got news that the media was back to criticizing her older sister Jessica Simpson because of her fluctuating weight, Ashlee didn’t waste any time letting the media know how she felt.

“It’s disgusting that people would say those things. My sister has an incredible body,” says the younger Simpson, 25. “I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady.”

This is not the first time that Jessica has been criticized for her weight.

“In October, an NFL cartoon depicted Dallas Cowboys starter Marion Barber snorting, “Man, I still can’t believe Tony [Romo] dated Jessica Simpson, even AFTER she blew up bigger than Flozell Adams!”

The cartoon created quite the stir and Fox and NFL sponsor Burger King issued a statement of apology later on for the sketch.

To be honest I’ve never really noticed Jessica’s weight gain and loss. It’s not like she was larger than any normal woman! Do you think the media is too harsh on Jessica?

Despite the fact that Britney Spears have been receiving some flack from her Australian performance, it seems like she’s been able to take some time out of her busy schedule to spend time with her boys and boyfriend Jason Trawick.

Britney headed over to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney to spend the day Saturday afternoon with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James as well as boyfriend Jason. By the looks of these pictures it looks like Britney and Jason are going strong. Look how cute they are in that first picture! I’m so glad that Britney is experiencing some happiness in her personal life.

Jessica Alba headed out to her local Target store yesterday to pick up some socks for daughter Honor Marie. I’ve included some really cute pictures of Honor so make sure you check them out!

In other news, Jessica recently had a little parking trouble while shopping at a Prada store in Los Angeles, California.

“The employees at Prada directed Jessica to park in the parking lot. Shortly after a man driving a dark blue Range Rover pulled up and blocked Jessica’s SUV into the spot, and said he was going to call parking enforcement to give her a ticket since she was in his spot.”

“Jessica was alerted of the situation and came out to discuss it with the man, but he was not interested in hearing anything. He kept Jessica boxed in until parking enforcement arrived and wrote her a ticket.”

“Prada employees came outside to try to calm the situation and help Jessica move her car, at which point the angry man turned and began to argue with them too. In the end, Jessica decided fashion was way more important than dealing with an idiot and finished her Prada shopping before calmly leaving.”

Okay, this is a problem non-celebs simply don’t have. ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson had such a good time at the Academy Awards last year, he lost his car.

Then, a few days later, he crashed the rental car he was driving while trying to out-race the paparazzi.

He moans, “People never followed me when I had my little old BMW.”

He still hasn’t found it a year later. Now, any non-celeb would have combed every nook and cranny of LA to find their lost BMW!

Lindsay Lohan reportedly stormed out of Brittny Gastineau’s birthday party earlier this week after a confrontation with an ex, Courtenay Semel, according to the NY Post.

A source said, “Everyone was trying to keep [Lohan and Semel] apart, especially since Courtenay is recently out of rehab and has pleaded with Lindsay to do the same.

“Everything was fine for a while, and Lindsay seemed happy, but then there was a confrontation when she came out of the bathroom, and she ran out in tears. Everyone fears she’s on some kind of self-destructive collision course.”

When the Post contacted Lindsay’s rep about the incident, the rep only said “That’s news to me,” while Courtenay’s rep did not return calls.

The evening about Brittny’s birthday party, Lindsay reportedly was out partying with Stavros Niarchos until 7 am. It doesn’t sound like Michael Lohan’s concerns about completely unfounded, but his tactics are still far more detrimental than helpful (even if they are profitable for him).

A Beverly Hills addiction counselor had this to say about Michael’s attempts to get Lindsay to return to rehab:

“Her dad is putting her in a scary situation. Getting her into rehab should be done quietly with love and respect, not by public criticism. He is just forcing her to rebel, and it’s just a time bomb waiting to happen.”

That makes complete sense to me. Hopefully this situation won’t get any worse.
