Stephanie Pratt Will Enter 30-Day Rehab
Posted on November 14, 2009 at 7:58 AM

‘The Hills’ star Stephanie Pratt pleaded not guilty to a DUI charge in court Friday but agreed to enroll in a 30-day residential rehab facility. Stephanie did not appear in court yesterday, but her attorney told E! News that his client was not drunk driving.
Outside court, [Stephanie's attorney] Artz told E! News that Pratt was really pulled over for her tinted windows and, “There’s no impaired driving or driving that indicates she was under the influence.”
He also implied the reason Pratt may have biffed a field sobriety test was because she was having a hard time negotiating the course in her 4-inch-heeled boots.
The prosecutor, however, says Stephanie took two breath tests, and one registered .09, which is above California’s legal limit of .08.
And while Stephanie’s attorney claims his client was drinking, he also said she was changing her ways.
“She’s trying one day at a time to do the right thing in respects to her life and facing whatever issues she may have,” says Artz. “She’s taking this case very seriously, and she’s taking the issue of alcohol very seriously.”
I guess that’s where the 30 days of residential rehab comes into play. Artz also told the court his client was willing to stop driving until she had a valid driver’s license and to stop drinking alcohol in order to remain free on her own recognizance.
So on one hand, Stephanie claims she wasn’t driving while intoxicated. Yet she’s willing to seek inpatient treatment for drinking. Confused?

it’s pretty standard to voluntarily enter rehab after a dui arrest. it lets the judge know you’re willing to take steps to prevent it from happening again.
Ahh, another one going to rehab. At least she willingly wants to be there.
Whatever.
just go ,get clean and shut up about it
exactly.
i’m not buying it.
good luck to her
Geez, I would hope she would stop driving until she got a valid driver’s license. Why wouldnt she ask to take off her boots if she felt they were preventing her from passing the sobriety test? Also why would someone who said she wasnt at the point of intoxication enter a 30-day inpatient treatment program? Those arent for social drinkers who dont get intoxicated. Her legal strategy is amazingly transparent.
“willing to stop driving until she had a valid driver’s license ” – Yip very confused.
She’s an idiot. Maybe they should revoke her liscense just for that reason.

Look, I know that attorney’s are suppose to be there in your defense but how is this girl going to learn a lesson when he had every excuse in the book for her behavior??….at least she’s going to rehab.
does she have a drinking problem?
