Katie Holmes might be one of “those” people. You know, the ones who chat their way through a movie, oblivious to the others around them. Yikes! Apparently Katie and some friends took in a screening of ‘New Moon’ this weekend but were more interested in chit-chatting than watching.

“Katie talked through all of New Moon. It was unbelievable — [she and pals] talked nonstop about the movie and everything else,” a witness at a recent New York screening reports. “Some people wanted to tell them to be quiet, but when they realized who it was, they stayed silent. No one wanted to shush Katie.

I never would’ve pegged her as someone who would do that!

That’s one of my movie-going pet peeves. That, and people using their cell phones to text and surf the internet during a movie. It’s so distracting to see those little lights everywhere in the dark. Would you have shushed her? or any other celebrity?

More celebrities doing good! Ali Lohan and Dina Lohan join community leaders in serving over 200 people with autism and other disabilities for a pre-Thanksgiving luncheon at Harbor Links Club and Grill on Long Island today.

I had to post these pictures because I’m just floored over Ali. She looks like a teenager here, doesn’t she? We usually see her so dressed up and looking much older than her actual age. It’s nice to see her supporting her community and looking like a typical teen.

John Travolta reportedly took daughter, Ella Bleu, on an extravagant spending spree. A witness says the duo spent over $12,000 at one store! Lucky, lucky girl!

They were so adorable together,” a witness tells In Touch. “Ella was picking out clothes and stuffed animals, and John even bought her a necklace from the fine jewelry department. Of course, people noticed him, but he didn’t seem to care, because he was only concerned about making her happy.”

“She seemed to be a real daddy’s girl,” says the witness. “It was clear that she adored him.”

I wonder if the Travolta family would be interested in adopting an adult daughter? lol! A girl can dream, right?

Ella makes her big screen debut with her parents in the movie “Old Dogs”, which opens tomorrow.

Brad Pitt is has an exciting new project in the works. He is turning the video game, ‘Dark Void’, into a movie. There’s no official confirmation on whether or not he will star in the film, but it’s being reported that he’s considering it.

Pitt might star as Will, a cargo pilot who crashes in the Bermuda Triangle and finds himself in a parallel universe where an ever-dwindling band of humans is locked in battle with an ever-growing alien threat. With the aid of some handy weapons and, intriguingly, powers, Will leads the humans in a desperate last battle to avoid becoming lunch.

The video game first comes out in January. It’s being suggested that if the game isn’t a huge hit, talk of the movie will die away quickly.

According to PopEater, Stacy Ferguson, (aka Fergie) got to know just how her ‘Nine’ co-star, Daniel Day-Lewis prepares for his roles. The method actor stayed in character by leaving little love notes for her. Fergie’s character is someone who “taunts and teases young Guido, Daniel’s character, in the movie”.

“Daniel is very charming. I’d go into my dressing room, and I’d find this little note. I’d open it, and it would be Guido’s stationary. He would write me little notes as Guido. They were very cute and very charming,”

She admits that she was intimidated by the top-notch cast.

“Going into this musical, I’m definitely the singer coming into this A-list acting world, so it was intimidating for me flying over and knowing that I was going to be amongst these people who were at the top of their game in their field. I thought maybe I’ll just sit in the corner and kind of be a sponge and not speak and watch how they hone their craft.”

It quickly became apparent that that wasn’t going to happen. She had to dive right in!

“The first person I met was Daniel. It was 15 minutes later where I had to belt out the song right in front of him. I’ve admired his work for years, and I just had to push through it and say, ‘What the hell.’ I was very hungry for this role, and I went after it. I definitely have caught the bug because it’s another way to express yourself, and I’m an artist.”

Sounds like she jumped in with both feet and enjoyed it! I’m anxious to see her performance. I have a feeling she pulled it off well.

Kelly Osbourne feels that after she took a spill on Monday night’s Dancing With The Stars, that she’s pretty much lost her chance at winning the competition. Donny Osmond and Mya both got perfect scores after their performances, so Kelly is quite certain that this is the end of the road for her.

“I definitely came into this competition raw,” she told Us after the show, noting the dance experience of her rivals, “and I don’t think I’m gonna win.”

“There were so many mistakes,” Osbourne explained. “Right before we did our group megamix, they covered us in this stuff called Body Gleam, the sparkly stuff. I might as well have put baby oil on myself!”

Added her partner Amstel: “It was so slippery! I knew she was going to get taken down when we did the helicopter.”

Oh my! Sounds like it was really slippery stuff! Kelly is really keeping a positive attitude despite the little slip.

“I was so happy,” she gushed. “I had so much fun, I wish every night was like this!”

She also shared that she does not plan to do much dancing once the show is over.

She joked, “unless things go really wrong, and I wind up back on drugs, dancing on a pole, I really don’t think I’ll ever do this much dancing again!

Her poor body will be so relieved once this show is over! She has had so many issues and near-injuries. She still has to have those shots to completely numb her feet before each show!
