Taylor Swift Gives Big As She Turns 20

Taylor Swift celebrated her 20th birthday with a big Christmas-themed party in Nashville and a big gift: a $250,000 donation to schools around the country that she’s worked with.
“Something I wanted to do at the end of this amazing year and especially on my birthday was give back to something I really believe in, which is education,” says Swift. “The schools that I went to and the amazing people I got to learn from really turned me into who I am, and I wanted to give back.”
Now this is what makes Taylor such a class act! No one would’ve thought twice if she’d celebrated this breakthrough year with a huge party for herself, but she still thought to give to a worthy cause.
