Nick Hogan Settles With Victim Of Car Crash

You might remember that horrific car accident involving Nick Hogan back in 2007 – I still get goosebumps when I see the photos. The accident caused his friend, John Graziano, “to lose a portion of his brain, to be confined to a wheelchair and to be in a minimally conscious state requiring full time care,”. Nick served 5 months in jail for the incident and the Graziano family filed a civil suit against the Hogan (real name Bollea) family shortly after he was released.

After nine hours of talks and negotiations, the families have come to a settlement and will avoid a trial. Even though the terms are being kept confidential, the Graziano family attorney shared this:

“We reached a settlement that was agreeable to all parties,” the victim’s family attorney, Kim Kohn, tells E! News. “We are very happy because our goal all along was to ensure that John was provided with the appropriate care for the rest of his life. And the settlement will do that…The mom is very relieved and that makes us very happy. The court approved it this morning.”

Hulk Hogan (aka Terry Bollea) was present during the long hearing:

“It was very positive that Terry came,” Kohn says. “He wanted to try to be there for John.”

It’s said that Linda Hogan settled her part with the family last month. John is somewhat improved and was released from the hospital in September.

Can you imagine? John was in the hospital for TWO years – those bills have got to be astronomical. And that doesn’t even cover the at-home-care costs. I’m sure the family is grateful to the Hogan family for settling and getting this mess taken care of so they can all move forward.

  1. This guy is never going to recover he is missing half his head if u guys haven’t seen it. But yeah this moron is a fan of drifting i wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up a vegetable too, soon enough! What goes around, comes around!

  2. ok its a horrible thing that happened but you are all being dicks, its not like he crashed on purpose and he wanted his best friend to be in the condition he is in now. your all so quick to judge but you havent stopped to think about the guilt he faces not only every time he gets in a car but every morning when he wakes up.

  3. I hope rich kids like Nick finally just die since these types of kids are worthlesss flat out
    Waste of air
His parents if u can call them parents are a bunch of tards

  4. Are u serious. Do u hear yourself moron? The whole thing was an accident. Maybe if the passenger was wearing his seat belt this unfortunate situation wouldn’t have happened.

  5. Pretty component to content. I simply stumbled upon your weblog and in accession capital to assert that I get actually loved account your blog posts. Anyway I?ll be subscribing for your feeds and even I achievement you get admission to persistently quickly.

  6. I can’t stand this guy but we have to remember that no one forced anyone to get into a car that they knew the driver was a total moron. It’s a shame all the way around and I wonder why the Hogan’s have having to pay anything when the son was of age wasn’t he? He should have been sent to prison for reckless driving and being a douche for a very very long time so we’d not have to see his ugly mug. God Bless the Marine and I hope he one day fully recovers.

  7. That really is a blessing that they were able to come to an agreement without having to go to court – then they would of had to play legal fees which would have put them so far in debt since they had medical bills already. I’m glad they aren’t left to pay for it all themselves!

  8. Are you serious?
Grateful? I’m sure the family was grateful that a moron with a rich family reduced their son to a comatose state, and I’m sure they were grateful that the settlement took so long to be agreed upon.

    Geez.

  9. The Hogan’s should have paid before so the lawyers wouldn’t have had such a big cut plus expenses. I bet these people didn’t get but 10% of what they really need. The hospital is usually paid right after the lawyers, the people who really need the money come in last.

  10. Hogan’s kids are spoiled and talentless. Please let this be the last we here from any of them.

  11. Sure agree with that……….grateful that their son lost part of his brain and will never be the same while this spoiled brat walks around like nothing happened. Really good of them…..

  12. I’m sorry – did you really just say this? “I’m sure the family is grateful to the Hogan family for settling” Yeah, grateful is certainly the right word.

  13. Nick was NOT of age at the time the accident occurred, he was only 17. If you read his page on Wikipedia, it clearly states that at first he was housed separately from the general population due to the fact that he was a minor.

  14. did you not hear or see or read any of the the Hogans did pay everything from day one they even set the family up in a townhouse next to the hospital so they would be near brought in the best doctors money could by wake up people the Hogans are people to, they did there part and are still doing it, the parnets of John, I think have used there son to do this thinking they would get alot but it all goes to him as it should, but let it go. The two of them done this together all the time no one forced him to get in the car he knew what they were going to do like all the other times. Sadly this time there was an accident and someone got seriously hurt but it Hogans fault it could have been there son as well let it go
