A movie about the life of Nirvana’s frontman Kurt Cobain has been in the works for a while, but rumors are saying that the film is finally moving forward. The movie will be based loosely on the book “Heavier Than Heaven” – one of the many written about him since his suicide in 1994. Former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl (The Foo Fighters) shared who he’d like to see play him in the movie:

“I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m crossing my fingers that Shelley Duvall plays me…. Shelley Duvall in ‘The Shining,’ that is my face, you cannot get any closer than that,”

Dave jokes:

“I am probably the least manly dude that you have ever met in your life, so why not have Shelley Duvall play me?”

He elaborates that if Cate Blanchet can pull off playing Bob Dylan, Shelley can certainly portray him:

“Put a beard on her, ” he added. “Cate Blanchett did it in the Dylan movie!”

He has a great sense of humor about the whole thing. Kurt’s widow, Courtney Love, will executive produce the flick with her lawyer.

Can you picture anyone who’ll be able to pull off playing Dave or Kurt? I wonder if Courtney will hand-pick someone to portray her?

John Mayer is back to Twittering. Over the weekend he shared his newly found appreciation for Ke$ha.

“Dear Ke$ha, you have won me over with your tricks and charms, And I must tell you I really like your song.”

“Though I must add I tried brushing with a bottle of Jack and I chipped a tooth on the glass. Where might I remit an invoice?” he continued in another Tweet.

And then he told his fans and friends to stop hiding the fact that they love Ke$ha’s music:

“Stop telling your friends you detest the ke$ha song and then dancing to it at home,” John wrote. “How about some accountability, people?”

Ke$ha responded to John’s Tweets with song lyrics from her single “Blah, Blah, Blah”:

“dear john mayerrr. Don’t be a little b***h wit ur chit chat. Jus $how me whur ur d**k’s at. X”

Hot new couple alert? Haha – I kid. John certainly didn’t keep himself off of Twitter for very long, did he?

Actress/Singer Christina Milian and her husband “The Dream”, have welcomed a new baby girl into the world. Christina gave birth to her daughter Violet, on Feb. 26th and a friend of the couple tells People that she has:

“a full head of hair.”

This is the first child for Christina and the fourth for her husband, who has three children with his ex-wife, Nivea.

Congrats to the happy family!

After stating just last week that she was still with “Big Poppa”, Kim Zolciak steps out with a new flame. On Saturday, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star attended the Blacks’ Annual Gala in Miami Beach with her new girlfriend, DJ Tracy Young.

Tracy even made a remix of Kim’s ‘Tardy For The Party’ single. She’s also reportedly made a lot of changes since starting her relationship with Kim three months ago.

A source shared with Us magazine:

“Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim. Since they’ve been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other.”

Apparently ‘Real Houswives of New York’ star Simon van Kempen shared that Kim’s sexuality might be the subject of the upcoming season of Atlanta:

“The rumor is that Kim Zolciak will come out this season,”

Johnny Depp must’ve finished up his promotional duties for ‘Alice In Wonderland’ last week. He was snapped on the set of ‘The Tourist’ today. Johnny said in an interview that he’d be interested in doing a cameo on the rumored ’21 Jump Street’ movie!

“I’m hoping they’ll let me do a cameo,” Depp said with a laugh. “Someone will say, ‘Whatever happened to Tom Hanson?’ and they’ll find me somewhere hoarding jars of peanut butter and shaking in my underpants.”

LOL! I’d go see the movie if he was in it. According to Entertainment Weekly, Jonah Hill is heavily involved in this remake:

The Jump Street movie is in development at Sony Pictures, with Jonah Hill on board to write, executive produce, and potentially star.
