Rosie O’Donnell shared that she doesn’t believe she (or anyone else) can fill Oprah’s shoes when she returns to daytime tv, but she’s going to do her best.

I don’t think anyone can fill her shoes,” Rosie told Access Hollywood on Monday night in New York City. “For [25] years she’s been No. 1 and I don’t think there’s anyone that can come close to having the affect she’s had on our culture and society. I often wish that when I was a child, there was an Oprah Winfrey show to deal with the death of my mother and children and grieving. Now, it’s almost a colloquialism, ‘Oprah’… so I don’t think there’s anyone who can come close but to try to follow in her footsteps.”

She continued:

To try to live up to the standard that she set, to move through daytime with grace and dignity as she has, those are lofty goals and I look at the time when Phil Donohue was on,” Rosie continued. “He was sort of groundbreaking and people thought there was no way anyone could ever compare and out came this local newscaster from Baltimore and she blew away the world for [25] years, so I will never compare myself to her. I don’t think anyone ever could, but there will be a huge void when she goes, I will tell you that and I don’t know. All I can say is I can try my best.”

I know a lot of you were pretty psyched that she was coming back to tv, but hope she keeps her radio show.

Zach Braff took to his Facebook page today to share with fans that ABC’s ‘Scrubs’ is over.

“Many of you have asked, so here it is,” writes Zach, “it appears that ‘New Scrubs’, ‘Scrubs 2.0′, ‘Scrubs with new kids’, ‘Scrubbier’, ‘Scrubs without JD’ is no more. It was worth a try, but alas… it didn’t work. zb”

While ABC hasn’t “officially” given the revamped show the boot, even the show’s creator and writers say it’s pretty much a done deal.

The writers shared on Twitter:

“We’re going to close up this Twitter shortly, and pop back on if there’s news for the future…Whatever happens in the future, we’ll let you guys know. Thanks for watching & letting us have the best job in the world (after astronaut). ScrubsWriters out!”

Have you been watching the “new” ‘Scrubs’? I’m sad to see it go, but it just wasn’t the same without the original characters.

Jessica Alba shared her experience in Africa with the ONE team on their blog.

I’ve wanted to travel to Africa my whole life and when offered the opportunity to listen and learn alongside ONE, it was a once in a lifetime chance that I couldn’t pass up. I’ve always admired the work ONE has done and being able to see the programs you’ve contributed to firsthand was inspiring.

Jessica learned about the various areas of great concern such as education, health care and poverty in general and the work needing to be done to help achieve the goals of ONE. The full blog entry is a bit lengthy but worth the read!

Sharon Stone was photographed today as she filmed in Tribeca on the set of ‘Law and Order: Special Victims Unit‘. She’s scheduled for four episodes that will start at the beginning of April.
