Orlando Bloom was enjoying himself, grabbing a bite to eat with his dog and some friends in West Hollywood, California this afternoon. Look at that puppy! Cute overload!

Orlando is probably glad to have some free time this week, as he no longer will have to appear in court for the trial of the woman who robbed his home. I’m sure he’s trying to put the nightmare behind him and move on.

‘Girls Gone Wild’ owner Joe Francis is launching a new reality show “Search for the Hottest Girl in America” on the HDNet channel and many parents groups are outraged not only at the fact that it will feature uncensored nudity, but because it sends the wrong message to young men about the value of women.

The Parents Television Council agrees and is sickened by it:

“GGW has built its brand on the exploitation of intoxicated women, that’s just what they are and for them to pretend to be anything but that is quite frankly, sickening. This (new show) further demonstrates the need for people to have cable choice,” Dan Isett, Director of Public Policy at the Parents Television Council Director told Pop Tarts.

Joe strongly defends the show, saying it’s nothing compared to what’s shown on HBO and says women in focus groups are enjoying it even more than the men.

The show is by no means anything harder than anything that’s been on HBO. Cuban has brilliantly designed this programming block, what he’s done is taken HBO’s whole niche and made it for free. You get HDNet as part of your basic cable package,” Francis told us. “‘Girls Gone Wild’ has been demonized for all these years, it’s been made out to be controversial when in fact HBO has ten times the harder core stuff and Cinemax is what we call “Skin”emax. Mark (Cuban) is genius and taken it into the free market.”

“In all the focus groups it actually scored higher with women than men. You’re going to be surprised; it’s not what you’d expect. It has every element of our GGW brand in it, the gratuitous nudity all over it and all uncensored, but it’s an incredible look at the company on all levels – it is a great story line with great characters,” Francis said.

Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts enjoyed the beautiful day in NYC with their sons Alexander (2) and Samuel (1). Their boys are just too cute. I love that one has that “white-blond” hair and the other has the more “golden-blond” hair.

Liev will be busy in July as promotion for ‘Salt’ gets underway. I wonder how they’ll handle his son Alexander’s third birthday, as it falls right in the time that they’ll probably be doing the premieres for the movie. These two don’t strike me as the type who probably enjoy the red carpet events too much. They seem more like the hang-out-at-home-with-the-kids-while-wearing-comfy-clothes type.
