Twilight Saga star Taylor Lautner was snapped as he ran some errands today in Hollywood. I almost did this as a Hot Guy of the Day post, but it just felt wrong! Even though he’s no longer a minor, he’s still so young, right?

In other Twilight news, director Catherine Hardwicke spent time at the Twilight convention in Vancouver this weekend. She shared her thoughts about the salary disputes with Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene for Breaking Dawn.

“It would really break my heart if they were replaced, but it could happen. Things could turn ugly quickly,”

She thinks the actors do deserve more money, but hopes they are careful in listening to the people around them.

“They have all these people and outside influences telling you what to do,” Hardwicke said. “They tell you to hold out for this much because you’re such an important part of the franchise, and everyone is telling you to ask for more.”
“Probably they do deserve more money, on one level,” Hardwicke says. “But if everybody makes so much money then … [shrugs]. It is very complicated. Oh my, it is such a mess. I really hope they can sort it out because it would be a shame to lose any actors.”

Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber were snapped on the red carpet this afternoon. (Okay, it’s not really red, it’s more of a floral swirl.) The two were attending the 61st Annual New Dramatist’s Benefit Luncheon in New York City. Today’s luncheon was honoring Tony Award-winning director-designer Julie Taymor.

Star magazine is claiming that Kelly Preston and John Travolta are expecting a new baby. They reportedly have a source going on the record saying:

“Kelly is about three months pregnant,” an insider tells Star about the 47-year-old actress, who’s also mom to 10-year-old Ella. “Both she and John are absolutely over the moon – they knew in their hearts that the time was right for this to happen.”

Heidi Montag’s dad, Bill Montag, is among the growing number of family and friends who is concerned for the safety of the reality starlet. Her dad shared his anxieties over the rumors of the way Heidi and Spencer are living:

“I’m worried for her,” “I’m afraid for her life.”

Her father doesn’t want to sit around waiting for word from her. He shared that March was the last time he spoke to his daughter.

“If I don’t hear from them soon, good or bad, I will take my family and get his family and go there and talk to them,” Bill says. “They can call the police on me too. I want to make sure both of them are OK.”

It’s so hard to weed through what is drama for the sake of publicity for the show and what’s the TRUE reality of the situation. Is it really as scary as the reports are saying? Or is this all just a ploy for media coverage? It’s frightening that it’s so difficult to tell the difference nowadays.

The list keeps growing! CBS announced the cancellation of SEVEN shows today! A few of them are a bit shocking. The unlucky seven: Ghost Whisperer, Numb3rs, Cold Case, Gary Unmarried, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Accidentally On Purpose, and Miami Medical. The network decided to save Rules of Engagement and Medium from the chopping block, both of which were picked up from NBC last year.

Although most of these aren’t brand new shows, this is why it’s so hard to pick and choose which new shows to watch in the fall. You just never know what shows will be a hit and then you’re sorely disappointed when it gets the ax. Any of these your favorites?
