Tonight’s big winners at the National Movie Awards in London were wizards and vampires and disappearing husbands. Harry Potter and the Twilight Saga won several categories. On hand to pick up the Harry Potter awards were Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Bonnie Wright.
Tom Cruise received the “Screen Icon” award and Robert Pattinson was the winner of “Performance of the Year”.

Robert is in the middle of shooting ‘Water for Elephants’, so I’m guessing that’s why he couldn’t attend. I wonder if Peter Facinelli was able to come up with his 3 British words for the acceptance speeches?
I love what Emma is wearing. I always look forward to seeing her on the red carpet! I love the color of Kylie Minogue’s dress – that’s a great color on her!

Mary-Kate Olsen’s Upcoming Film Bumped Because of Zac Efron

Mary-Kate Olsen is set to co-star in the upcoming flick “Beastly” with Vanessa Hudgens. The movie was originally set to release on July 30th, but it was just announced that it’s being pushed back because of Zac Efron (sort of). Zac’s new movie “Charlie St. Cloud” is due for release on the same date, so the producers of “Beastly” decided to hold off so that Zac and Vanessa don’t have competing films. They shared on the movie’s Facebook page:
Beastly fans-You guys are awesome-so we wanted to make sure you were the first to hear the official news, Beastly is moving off of July 30th. We’ve been hearing from fans, so we know that having both Zac and Vanessa’s movies opening on the same day could be a real dilemma for people, so we are moving Beastly. We’ll keep you posted on all the latest, so keep checking back here for all things Beastly.

Mary-Kate and Ashley were spotted leaving their NYC apartment this afternoon. What do you think of their outfits? Doesn’t Mary-Kate look like she could almost pass for Ke$ha’s sister? There’s just something about the outfit, the hair, etc.

MTV Movie Awards To Be Sandra Bullock’s First “Post-Scandal” Event

Sandra Bullock will be making her first public appearance at the MTV Movie Awards in June. This will be the first public event she has attended since the Jesse James cheating scandal made headlines.
Sandra is set to receive MTV’s Generation Award.
“for her riveting and diverse contributions to the film industry,”
Sandra’s rep has confirmed that she will be there, but Sandra reportedly will not be doing any interviews before or after the ceremony. I completely understand why she would refuse to do them. You know that every single interviewer will be trying to get any quote they can about the cheating scandal. I imagine it will be a while before she does public interviews and talk shows. Even then she’ll probably have strict rules in place about what they can and can’t ask her.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise were a few of the celebrities who hit the red carpet outside of the Royal Festival Hall in London for tonight’s National Movie Awards. Among the other stars who were snapped making their way to the awards ceremony: Orlando Bloom, Dominic Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Rock, Chris Noth, and Peter Facinelli
Let’s talk dresses! What do you think about Gwyneth’s hot pink number? It reminds me of something Paris Hilton would wear, don’t you think? It’s fun and seems a little bit outside of her typical dresses for events like this. What about Katie’s striped dress? Is it a hit or a miss?

Britney Spears Gets Another Caffeine Fix

Britney Spears made yet another coffee run today. This morning we saw her at Starbucks and then the pop princess was spotted leaving the Bel-Air Bar and Grill coffee express with boyfriend Jason Trawick, with another coffee drink in hand. Just a little while later she was spotted leaving a Beverly Hills salon with ANOTHER coffee treat!
She then let her hair down this afternoon and headed to Subway to grab lunch. Hopefully that’s an caffeine-free soda! That girl is going to be buzzing like crazy!

Mariah Carey has sent the rumor mill buzzing today as she suddenly pulled out of filming a new movie. Mariah was set to start filming with Tyler Perry on the film For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf, which is based on the 1975 play. So, naturally the media outlets are wondering if we should be expecting a baby announcement soon? Mariah’s rep won’t give up any info:
It is a bit peculiar that she backed out just weeks before the start of filming, but it could be for any number of reasons, right? Do you think it might be possible that they are expecting a baby? Mariah and Nick have both made many comments about their desire to start a family, so it is possible. Guess we’ll just have to hang in there and see.
