Some exciting changes are underway for season 2 of Jessica Simpson’s reality/documentary show ‘The Price of Beauty’. According to sources close to the project, they show will focus more on makeovers and image than on Jessica traveling the globe. According to Us magazine:

A VH1 spokesperson said, “We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image, etc. all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens. We are really excited about the next step, which we will announce soon and will air on VH1 in 2011.”

Lady Gaga signed autographs in Cambridge, Massachusetts today as she left the MIT Museum. The singer was at the museum to direct a photo shoot with Polaroid. Polaroid is featuring Gaga in an exclusive photo that will be unveiled and presented to MIT’s museum.

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo was spotted leaving her gym in Studio City this morning. I wonder if it’s the same place that Gisele Bundchen goes to?

Ellen’s next project will be starring alongside Jennifer Aniston in ‘The Goree Girls’, which is in pre-production right now.

A 1940s-set musical centered around a group of incarcerated female country-and-western performers.

I’m anxious for this to film. I just can’t wrap my brain around Jennifer Aniston as a country singer, so I can’t wait to see her in action.

The team behind Twilight Saga: Eclipse is whistling a happy tune all the way to the bank today. After just ONE showing last night at midnight, the flick made $30 MILLION dollars. Crazy! That’s making back almost half of its budget in ONE showing.

It surpassed New Moon’s opening night of $26.3 million. It also made a record $1 million dollars in IMAX showings, beating out the previous record held by Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Some theaters offered a special viewing of Twilight and New Moon prior to the midnight show, pulling in an additional $2.4 million!

Although it is off to a mind-boggling start, it’s not expected to exceed New Moon’s $142.8 million opening weekend.

Madonna and Lourdes are launching their new fashion line “Material Girl” in Macy’s stores in just a few weeks. Madonna chatted about Lourdes’ work on the collection:

Lola’s influences, you know, watching films, watching music videos – she pays attention to what’s going on in the street and what people are wearing, and she’s much more fashion forward and savvy than I am at this point!”

She shared some of their design inspiration:

we mix and match textures and fabrics and elements that are both masculine and feminine. It’s not complicated. It’s dressing in layers. It’s not looking like you took too much time thinking about what you’re wearing,” says Madonna.

They are still planning to announce their “celebrity muse” for the line, but not just yet. Rumor has it that they are dropping hints on the Facebook and Twitter pages of the fashion line.
