SURPRISE!!

Just ONE MONTH after Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr announced their engagement, People Magazine is reporting that the pair MARRIED in a secret ceremony.

The model, 27, and the British actor, 33, are now on their honeymoon, Kerr reveals in a statement explaining why she’s canceling an appearance at the Australian department store David Jones.

“David Jones very graciously released me during this period so we could celebrate an intimate ceremony and honeymoon together,” Kerr says in the statement. “I’m very much a part of the David Jones Family and I am very committed to my role. I am enormously grateful to David Jones to have been given this time to enjoy such a special moment in my life.”

Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton enjoyed a day out at sea with their friends in St. Tropez, France. I love how even though the reality star is on a speeding tour, she still manages to do her makeup. LOL!

My guess is she caught wind of the paparazzi snapping away on a nearby boat. Either way, the group of girls looked like they were having a great time.

Oh Anna Paquin! How I ADORE your HBO show. It’s practically one of the only ones I’m watching these days.

The actress was photographed shopping at the hidden treasure boutique, ‘Bird LA’ in Los Angeles. Did you hear that the vampire drama is about to be syndicated? Not sure how exactly that will work out considering season two was basically one huge orgy!

HBO wants $800,000 an episode! Do you think it will be worth it for a network to try out? It just won’t be the same once it’s made safe for TV.

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed in a newsletter on her GOOP website that she struggled with postpartum depression after her son Moses, 4, was born.

She wrote:

When my son, Moses, came into the world in 2006, I expected to have another period of euphoria following his birth, much the way I had when my daughter was born two years earlier. Instead I was confronted with one of the darkest and most painfully debilitating chapters of my life. For about five months I had, what I can see in hindsight as postnatal depression.”

Gwyneth has talked in the past about suffering from the condition but only realized what was wrong with her once she had overcome it.

She said:

“I didn’t know I had it until after it was over. I just didn’t know what was wrong with me. I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down. I felt pessimistic.”

In the newsletter, Gwyneth also included a piece written by actress Bryce Dallas Howard, detailing her own battle with postpartum depression after giving birth to her son Theo.

Bryce shared:

“It is strange for me to recall what I was like at that time. I seemed to be suffering emotional amnesia. I couldn’t genuinely cry, or laugh, or be moved by anything.”

I give them both a lot of credit for talking openly about it. So often PPD is something that women keep to themselves and feel like they’ll be judged if they admit to having those feelings.

Jennifer Lopez spent some time in Thousand Oaks, California today doing a little shopping.

Reportedly Jennifer may be facing a $40 million lawsuit over a concert that she canceled. She was scheduled to perform at a hotel grand opening on the island of Cyprus. Jennifer’s rep had announced last week that she was not playing the concert because of “sensitivity to the political realities of the region.” The island has been locked in political turmoil for years, and it sounds like a Facebook group may have been the deciding factor in her backing out.

The hotel’s spokesperson released this statement:

“If she does not show up for the concert, we will begin a procedure in the courts to claim $35 to $40 million in damages,” said Murat Bozoglu, the Turkish-speaking head executive of the Cratos Premium Hotel and Casino.

“The cancellation is not covered by any clause in the contract she signed with us.”

Ouch. Can you imagine if she can’t get out of the contract? That’s a huge chunk of money. Hopefully they can settle things peacefully. You can’t blame her for not wanting to be part of a heated political battle.
