Mark Wahlberg was honored with a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame today. Mark’s wife, Rhea Durham, and their children Ella (6), Grace (6 months), Michael (4) and Brendan (1) were at his side to celebrate with him.

Mark has been acting since 1993; his first movie role was in Renaissance Man. Of course, he was famous long before that because of his music and modeling for Calvin Klein.

Will Ferrell also showed up to his support his ‘The Other Guys’ co-star.

Mark’s star is # 2414.

Even though his kids are so young, it’s a wonderful thing for them to see their dad receive this honor. I’m sure his family and friends are proud of him. It must be a little surreal to be a part of the Walk of Fame.

Melissa Rosenberg is a screenwriter with the weight of the world resting on her pen. Well, the weight of the Twilight Fandom anyway. As she continues writing the final two scripts for the Twilight Saga, she shares that she may not be able to squeeze every character from the book into the movies.

“For me, it is about pulling forward the ones that are essential and really making sure they have a presence,” she added.

“It’s extremely challenging to introduce those new characters because you already have quite a slew of characters to service, The Cullen family is large, the wolf family is large, you have three leads –  finding room for all of them is a challenge.”

Good news for “Team Jacob” fans – one area of the book that Melissa says WILL be a part of the movie is the section told from Jacob’s (Taylor Lautner) point of view. Some fans heard that she was going to cut that section out.

“I don’t know where that idea came from, but that is not true,” We are going to see Jacob’s perspective equally, so don’t worry.”

For those who have read the books, how do you feel about the possibility of losing some of the new characters introduced in ‘Breaking Dawn’? Can you think of any “newbies” that aren’t critical to the story?

Jon Hamm has been in a relationship with actress Jennifer Westfeldt for a long time, but he says the two have no plans to walk down the aisle.

“I don’t have the marriage chip, and neither of us have the greatest examples of marriages in our families, But Jen is the love of my life, and we’ve already been together four times longer than my parents were married.”

Jon is also not in any rush to have kids, possibly not having any at all:

“I like kids but I also like the option to close the door,” he said. “Becoming a parent is a whole other life, and it doesn’t stop.”

Jon lost both of his parents at a young age: his mom died when he was just 10, and his dad passed away when Jon was only 20. Losing them made him realize that you can’t control life – just enjoy it while you’re here.

“Losing both parents at a young age gave me a sense that you can’t really control life–so you’d better live it while it’s here,” he said.   “I stopped believing in a storybook existence a long time ago. All you can do is push in a direction and see what comes of it.”

Two of the funniest actors, Steve Carell and Zach Galifianakis, teamed up to make this hilarious “interview” for Funny or Die. Warning – there is one “F” bomb dropped, so watch with caution if you are at work or have little kids within earshot.

They are both starring in ‘Dinner For Schmucks’ with Paul Rudd, which comes out in theaters tomorrow.

They are true professionals – I could NEVER keep a straight face like they do through all of that. I guess this is why they get paid the big bucks and I don’t!!

This morning the Jersey Shore gang hung out on the Today show with Matt Lauer. Snooki, Paul ‘DJ Pauly D’ Delvecchio, Jenni ‘JWOWW’ Farley and Vinny Guadagnino were chatting about the premiere of season 2, which starts tonight on MTV.

In the conversation Snooki mentions that she bought a new car, but isn’t able to drive it!

“I bought a new car. I got a 2011 BWM, that I can’t drive because it’s stick,”
“But it’s still a good time.”

Color me stupid, but WHY wouldn’t you buy an automatic? That doesn’t make any sense!!! Unless she got a special deal or something and that’s what she was given?

Matt tried to bring up the salary issues, but Snooki said she’s not concerned with money, she just wants to have fun.

“We don’t come here to talk about money; we come here to party,” Snooki told Matt. “We haven’t discussed those things, and we shouldn’t. We just come here to have a good time.”

The cast also shared that they don’t worry about how the show will be edited to make them look:

“When we come here, we don’t think about what’s going to be cut and screwed, we just come out to have a good time,” she said. “We don’t think about [the show's editing]. Because if you do, you’ll drive yourself crazy and you won’t be yourself.”

Are you planning to watch season 2? Did you watch the first one? I think it’ll either blow up bigger than it was or it might fizzle out if fans aren’t happy with it not actually being filmed at the shore.

Victoria Beckham and David Beckham always look like they just stepped off a magazine cover. The ever-stylish couple was spotted as they headed to a private birthday party in London for Kelly Hoppens, a famous interior designer (who also used to be married to Sienna Miller’s father).

Also in attendance at the soiree were Victoria’s “Spicegirl” group mate Emma Bunton and ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ star Gordon Ramsay .

Victoria looks amazing, as always. I love this color on her. She wears black and neutral colors so often, it’s great to see a splash of color now and then. She has such great taste – especially in men.
