Spencer Pratt is now the third person to come forward to say that ‘The Hills’ was completely fake. He claims his marriage to Heidi Montag was a show. The ink was barely dry on the divorce paperwork before Spencer gave his first interview:

“I love Heidi but our marriage was a show “ it was part of The Hills world,” Pratt said Friday. “And that world is on a sound stage.”

“It’s clear that reality TV-fame-loving Spencer Pratt does not fit with my ex-wife Heidi Montag’s ambitions for a motion picture actor/pop star career and being a single sex symbol for the world.”

Maybe this next statement should have been the quote of the day:

“Some say if you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen, Well, Heidi couldn’t handle King Spencer’s fame so she got out of the marriage.”

Glad to see he takes it all so seriously.

Oscar nominee Terrence Howard has just landed a central role in the new show “Law & Order: LA”.

A large part of the show will focus on celebrity cases/story lines. Terrence will be playing a new Deputy District Attorney. He joins a cast that already includes Alfred Molina (Sorcerer’s Apprentice), Skeet Ulrich (Jericho, Scream), and Corey Stoll (Salt).

The show starts shooting August 2nd and will premiere this fall.

We’ll still be seeing plenty of Terrence on the big screen. He has several movies lined up for release:

Just a day after word spread that Jennifer Love Hewitt was dating a new man, she was spotted with ex-boyfriend Jamie Kennedy. The two former co-stars grabbed breakfast together in Studio City this morning.

It’s not really unusual to see them together, as they reportedly ended things on a very friendly note. But I’m sure the media will report that they are getting back together in 3..2…1…

You will never guess what Katy Perry has purchased for Russell Brand’s 35th birthday. Never.

Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic confirmed that Katy has purchased Russell a ticket for a flight into space!

“It is true,” Virgin Galactic rep Louella Faria tells E! News. “We are very excited to have him onboard.”

Tickets cost $200,000. Ticket holders attend 2 days of astronaut training before jetting 365,000 feet straight into the atmosphere. They will then be allowed to undo their seatbelts and float weightlessly for five minutes before heading back to Earth.

“There will be 17-inch diameter windows to look out onto,” a space agent for Virgin Galactic tells E! “Passengers will be able to view Earth around 800 miles in any direction from space.”

Wow. What a huge gift. No word yet on whether Katy will decide to join him in this wild adventure. She’s got a while to think it over, as the flights are still in testing stages.

The “shuttle” (VSS Enterprise) will be jettisoned into space by the launch vechicle (SpaceShip Two/Eve) shown below. (you can see the full configuration on the Virgin Galactic website) For a glimpse at a test flight – I put a video under the cut.

‘Jersey Shore’ cast members Ronnie, Snooki, and Vinny were spotted today as they filmed some footage in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. After I finished writing this, a new set of photos popped up – showing Snooki being hauled away by police!!! Reportedly, she’s being arrested for disorderly conduct.

Okay, let’s fess up – who watched the season 2 premiere last night??? I’ve been waiting for the official ratings announcement because the curiosity is killing me. Did you know that season 1′s December 9th episode only had about 1.3 million viewers and within ONE month they were up to 4.8 million! That’s a crazy huge jump! UPDATED: It premiered with 5.3 million viewers! Wow. I’m sure MTV is doing a happy dance this morning.

Why is Snooki drinking Coke through a beer funnel???

In other Jersey Shore gossip…it’s been rumored that “The Situation” might be a contestant on the next season of ‘Dancing With the Stars’. Mike denied the rumor a while back, but for some reason the rumor mill is abuzz again.

Heidi Montag has officially filed for divorce from her husband of just one year, Spencer Pratt. Approximately 2 months ago the reality starlet filed for a separation, but today filed the papers to fully end their marriage.

According to Heidi’s lawyer, the process should be swift and amicable:

Heidi has amended her petition for separation and today has filed a petition for dissolution of marriage from Spencer Pratt,” Montag’s lawyer Jodeane Farrell tells PEOPLE. “The couple has agreed they would like their divorce to be finalized in a timely manner in an out of court settlement. Both parties are amicable with each other and over the possibility of finalizing their divorce.”
