TV critics were shocked when the hit F/X show ‘Sons of Anarchy’ was snubbed completely by the Emmy nominations. The show’s creator and cast are just fine with that, they say.

The show’s star, Charlie Hunnam couldn’t be happier about the lack of nominations:

“I personally was really happy. I don’t subscribe to Emmys or awards or any of that s—,” “I think it’s all a crock of s—.”

“I was happy that … we weren’t on the receiving end of a force that could change the dynamic that we have,” he said. “All of that crap, I think, is secondary and … has the potential to ruin a good thing.”

Creator and executive producer Kurt Sutter thinks the whole system is flawed:

“All I have to say is half the stories are about the nominations and the other half of the stories are about the absurdity of the nominations and the snubs,” Sutter said. “The system is somewhat flawed.”

Do you watch ‘Sons of Anarchy’? Would you recommend it?

What do you think about the Emmy nominations – or any of the big awards show nominations for that matter. Do you think a lot of quality shows/movies are left out? I have to admit that I don’t get the whole “campaigning” thing.

Vanessa Paradis is starring alongside Romain Duris in the upcoming romantic comedy “Heartbreaker”. The French film has been on the festival circuit for the last few months and is now set for a limited release in the U.S. on September 10th.

Alex and his sister run a business designed to break up relationships. They are hired by a rich man to break up the wedding of his daughter. The only problem is that they only have one week to do so.

Johnny Depp has shared in the past that he never watches his own movies, but I’d be willing to be that he accompanies Vanessa to her premieres and watches her films.

Fans and non-fans alike aren’t going to be very happy with today’s Twilight Saga news. Summit Entertainment has announced the final date for the last film in the franchise: ‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′. The first part is due in theaters on November 18, 2011 and now the second part has been given a tentative release date of November 16th, 2012!

That’s almost a 2 1/2 year wait! Non-fans will have 2 1/2 years to put up with the media frenzies and hype while the fans have to try to be patient for that long to get closure on their favorite franchise.

That’s really a long span in between when you consider it will be an 18-month gap in between ‘Eclipse’ and ‘Breaking Dawn Part 1′. Do you think fans will be able to hang in there and keep their excitement going for that long?

I wonder if that means we can expect to see remakes of the films somewhere around 2017? LOL!

Jessica Alba is finally back in Los Angeles! Jessica and Honor Marie have been in France for what feels like eons! It was really about a month or two, but it seems like we haven’t seen them in a LONG time. Jessica spent time over there promoting her movie “The Killer Inside Me” and also took in the Paris Fashion Week festivities and then just enjoyed an extended vacation with friends. If you follow her on Twitter, she tweeted a few pictures of her vacation.

Today the mother and daughter were spotted at the craft store picking up some supplies. Honor is growing up so fast. Such a cutie!

Gisele Bundchen used her blog to try to clear up the misunderstanding about her breastfeeding quote after it sparked outrage from many moms.

My intention in making a comment about the importance of breastfeeding has nothing to do with the law,” Bundchen writes.

“It comes from my passion and beliefs about children. Becoming a new mom has brought a lot of questions, I feel like I am in a constant search for answers on what might be the best for my child.

“It’s unfortunate that in an interview sometimes things can seem so black and white. I am sure if I would just be sitting talking about my experiences with other mothers, we would just be sharing opinions.

“I understand that everyone has their own experience and opinions and I am not here to judge. I believe that bringing a life into this world is the single most important thing a person can undertake and it can also be the most challenging. I think as mothers we are all just trying our best.”

Do you think maybe Gisele’s comments were taken out of context? I’m sure we’ve all worded things in a way that we didn’t quite mean and regretted the way it came out?
