Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago… Feels incredible. I love it. I’ve wanted to do this for years and years; it’s the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x

This is apparently a VERY big deal – she posted this less than three hours ago and she is already a trending topic on Twitter! LOL! Wonder how the the Harry Potter fans are dealing with Hermione’s new look?

She is so unbelievably stunning that she can pull off almost any look. It looks incredible!

What do you think of the pixie-short hairdo?

  1. I did that too, though my hair was a bit longer (like Katherine McPhee) It took me a loooong time to grow it out. And yes, those awkward in-between stages :( Now, 4 years later, it’s finally long again. I’ll never cut it off again!

  2. I cut my hair this short 2 years ago, and she’s right; it’s incredibly liberating…. but also a b*tch to grow out!! I’m still in the awkward in-between stages!

  3. I’ve been thinking on cutting my hair this short, but I havent dared yet. I have always worn my hair long and I believe I will love it but then I think the in between. My hair has mind of its own and Im afraid of what shape is going to take once start growing out. Are you going to cut it or letting it grow out?

  4. I think it looks great on her- she kind of reminds me of Julie Andrews circa The Sound of Music. I’ve also had my hair cut this short and it is extremely liberating.

  5. love it! she looks great. I always let me hair grow for 3 or 4 years and then drastically chop it off.. like I did on monday… lol

good for her trying something new, and besides if she doesn’t want to wait for the akward to grow out she can always get extensions..

  6. That was probably the point. She’s in her twenties now but is famous for playing Hermione, a school-aged teenager. Who wouldn’t want to look older?
