After dating speculation started today, Kat Von D’s rep released a statement saying that she and Jesse James are not dating.

“They did have dinner, but they are just friends,”

Her rep says they’ve known each other for a while because of their reality shows being on TLC.

“They’ve always remained good friends,” says her rep. “There is no romance there with Jesse.”

“just good friends catching up. She’s been seen holding hands with friends before.”

According to People, the two friends spent the day together on Sunday, as well, and were holding hands again.

On Sunday, the two visited Bodies The Exhibition at the Luxor Hotel and Casino, where they continued to hold hands. The two discreetly toured the exhibit together, but James continued into another gallery, avoiding the cameras as a staff member asked the LA Ink star to take a picture.

Maybe they are just close friends who don’t think twice about their pda being misconstrued? They are both grown adults who are single, so really it doesn’t matter one way or the other, does it?

Rumors are swirling that ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Danielle Staub is leaving the show. It’s being said that she’s in talks to star in a new reality show centered around just her. The reality drama queen acknowledged the rumors on her Twitter, but played coy and didn’t give away any details:

I’m not even thinking about season 3 right now, Staub says. I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6.

“Don’t worry,” Staub insists, “next year, I’ll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love.”

A rep for Bravo was equally coy in their statement:

We haven’t announced anything regarding a 3rd season.

Danielle always seems to be the center of the controversy and drama on the show. What on earth will the other ladies do with all of their free time if she leaves? Would you watch Danielle if she gets her own show?

Jenny McCarthy hosted the 4th annual Midsummer Night’s Dream at Palms Pool & Bungalows inside The Palms Hotel Casino in Las Vegas this weekend. At the event, she shared that she’s been enjoying the last five months as a single woman and talked about her toned and fit body:

On being single:

“I’m enjoying it tremendously!”

Jenny was scantily dressed in a barely-there outfit. She said that she’s enjoying showing off her body while she still can:

“Look at me in this outfit,” “Would I not be hitting this? Come on.” “I have one more year to pull off an outfit like this, so I better hit it while it’s hot.”

Jenny and her son Evan are currently living in Vegas while their L.A. house is being remodeled. She says they are very happy in Vegas:

“I really love it,” “I was never really a fan of Los Angeles. Coming out [to Las Vegas] believe it or not, I feel more peaceful.”

Peaceful is not a word I would imagine someone using to describe Vegas. Most of us just think crazy flashing lights, noisy casinos, etc.

After months of speculation and rumors, fans of the Millennium trilogy books have their Lisbeth Salander! Actress Rooney Mara (‘Nightmare on Elm Street’, ‘Social Network’) has landed the coveted female lead in the upcoming film ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’.

Rooney joins Daniel Craig and Robin Wright, who will play Mikael Blomkvist and Erika Berger. The rumors have been flying for months about the possible casting of this role. Actresses whose names had been tossed around were: Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, Natalie Portman, and even Emma Watson (you know, because she got a haircut – LOL!).

What do you think of the final decision? I know a lot of you are die-hard fans of Noomi Rapace (who played the lead in the Swedish version), but will this at least encourage you to check out the American adaptation?
