Prince William And Kate Middleton Get Engaged!

Ok, admittedly Prince William is not really a celebrity, but he is ROYALTY! I feel like this is something we should be talking about considering he eventually will become KING of England. People Magazine is reporting that Prince William and Kate Middleton are officially engaged.
“Everyone is absolutely delighted. He has never had eyes for any other woman since Kate came on the scene,” says an old friend. “She is going to make a wonderful wife, a wonderful princess.”
We all knew that was coming. William and Kate have been dating for ages! I think it’s been about 8 years. My goodness – talk about being patient.
A source says that the wedding will resemble Princess Diana’s grand affair. I remember watching that on television as a child. I was very, very young but my mother was crying because she was born in Malta (which was governed by England until the 60s) and loved Diana. It was so special for her and that made it special to me.
Can’t wait to see Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding ceremony! Her dress is going to be UNREAL.

Vera, thank you for sharing that sweet story about your mother! I don’t have a story to share about her wedding, as I wasn’t born yet. But William and I are roughly the same age, and so in a way (even though it feels silly to admit) I feel like I’ve ‘grown up’ with him since I’ve heard about him all my life. I still remember when Princess Diana died, even though I was just a kid. Thanks for reporting on this story. I wish William and Kate all the best!
