It seems Jenny McCarthy may NOT be looking for a New Year’s Eve date after all. Rumor has it that Jenny is quietly seeing a “regular” guy – Paul Krepelka, an entertainment-sports attorney. A source tells People:

“They’ve been on a couple dates,” a source tells PEOPLE of the blossoming – and currently casual – relationship.

I hope she finds Mr. Right – it sounds like she’s very ready for another long-term relationship.

Here are some shots that just popped up of Taylor Swift hanging out in Nashville with a friend on Wednesday. Taylor and her friend grabbed some Asian food at Pei Wei restaurant.

Taylor spent Christmas in Turks and Cacios with her mom and brother, so I wonder if she and Jake Gyllenhaal are planning to ring in the New Year together or if their schedules are too crammed to make it work? Maybe things have cooled between them already? If that’s the case, I wonder if we should be suspicious that it was more of a PR relationship then? I’m always skeptical lately. LOL!

Michael Lohan is getting Lindsay a getting-out-of-rehab gift. Not happy with just a plain old singing telegram – Michael has commissioned R&B singer Delious Kennedy to write a dance song for his daughter.

Michael tells TMZ (so much for that silent treatment he was giving the media) about the song:

“talented and beautiful young lady who has grown in our hearts, she is badgered by paparazzi, cut down by the media … She will wilt, but when she falls, I will always be there to pick her up and put her pedals back on.”

Delious shared a few lyrics:

“The girl is like a rose garden. She falls back, springs forth and grows stronger with thorns.”

Some celebrities got a head start on the New Year’s Eve celebrating last night in Las Vegas. A slew of celebs turned out for the grand opening of the Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan.

Christina Milian, Emmy Rossum, Mel B., Lukas Haas, Kellan Lutz, Brand Norwood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Olivia Munn, and Jessica Szohr were just a few of them!

Time Square isn’t the only place to be on New Year’s Eve! Looks like Las Vegas will be hosting quite a few stars as we say goodbye to 2010 and hello to 2011! RadarOnline reports that Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez will be in Las Vegas at the grand opening of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where Coldplay and Jay-Z will also be performing! Sounds like that will be quite the party!

And over at Tao Las Vegas, newly corn-rowed Kim Kardashian will be hosting their New Year’s Eve party! Diddy is hosting a party at Luxor’s LAX, Rihanna will be ringing in the New Year at PURE and Ludacris will be over at Vanity.
