Jim Carrey and Carla Gugino continue to film “Mr. Popper’s Penguins” in New York City. Did you read this book with your kids? I wonder if Jim’s grandson will be old enough to check this out by the time it releases? Nah, he might still be pretty little, but just imagine how cool it will be when he IS old enough and realizes his grandpa is IN these movies he watches.

Bridget Moynahan was also filming in NYC, but for her television series “Blue Bloods“. Have you been watching it? I heard great things, but it’s so far into the season now I’d be lost!

Kate Bosworth and Danny Huston are starring in the film “Warrior’s Way” together, an action flick about a samurai swordsman who “picks up an eight-month-child and is thrust into America’s Wild West”.

Danny shared that the crew was very concerned about the violence that the child was exposed to on set:

“The child was very much present throughout, and gives a really good performance I must say – smiled at the right times, frowned at the right times,” Danny Huston, who plays villain Colonel, told Pop Tarts. “Occasionally during some of the more violent action sequences, the AD (assistant director) became very protective over this child. So, we all took great care of it and were all parents to this really fun character of a child.”

Kate admits that she loved working with the “diva” baby:

She’s in so much of the movie so she absolutely was around us all the time. I’d say she was the only diva on set – she’s the only uncontrollable variable where of course if she was hungry or tired, we’d have a lot of dialogue and work around that a little bit. But she’s so beautiful and lovely. To see her face, you just melt.”

Kate admitted that she has a hard time watching her own movies:

“I have such a hard time watching my own films because by the time the film comes out, I feel like I’ve already done a few films. Like anything, you learn and grow and hopefully get better at what you do. By the time I see the film, I’m like ‘ahh, I could have done that differently.’ I think I’m pretty hypercritical, probably the most critical of myself so I always have a bit of a hard time.”

Do you think you could deal with exposing such a small baby to violent scenes on a movie set? You have to wonder what goes through their little minds!

Country singer Willie Nelson was busted last week for pot possession when police searched his tour bus at a border patrol check point.

Willie initially was thought to have more than 6 ounces on him, which constitutes a felony, but it was actually only 4 oz. The lesser amount means Willie was only slapped with a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge instead. If he’s convicted, he only faces a fine – no jail time.

When I read about the bust last week, I wasn’t even phased. I mean, it’s WILLIE NELSON and POT – they sort of go hand in hand and he’s never hidden the fact that he’s a pot smoker. Cripes, there are SONGS about his pot use. I don’t know, the man is in his 80′s, shouldn’t we just leave him be? I know, I know, it’s illegal no matter what. Just sayin’!

Police are investigating two men – 17 & 23 – for hacking into the computers of Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Ke$ha, and Kelly Clarkson and stealing music they were working on! The hackers, from Germany, were “plugged in” to the musicians’ computers for as long as TWELVE MONTHS before they were discovered. They reportedly got access by sending a Trojan to the official email accounts of the celebs, their record companies, and management.

The men reportedly made about $13,000 from selling the hacked songs – and many times the leaks forced the artists to release the music early. One of the men said:

“I’m a fan and I just wanted to have cool music,” he was quoted by the newspaper as saying. “I’m no blackmailer.”

What fan would dream of doing something so malicious? I can’t even imagine! Have you had any issues with hackers on your system?

Alexis Neiers, a former reality star now best known for her “work” as a thief, will be returning to jail. Alexis took a plea deal back in May for the burglary of Orlando Bloom’s home and spent a short stint in jail (incidentally at the same time as Lindsay Lohan). Earlier this week police paid a visit to her home because she had failed to register with her probation officer when she was released from the jail, as required – and while there police also found her in possession of black tar heroin.

TMZ reports that a judge has revoked her probation today, and she will be held without bail pending a hearing next week.

I don’t know if Alexis was ever tied to the other burglaries? I remember there was a slew of stars who were hit – Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, and Audrina Patridge were a few of them.
