Lo Bosworth appears to be a woman in transition. Her reality TV show ‘The Hills’ ended earlier this year, and now she’s broken up with her boyfriend of two years, Scott Hochstadt.

“Lo and Scott are no longer together, but remain good friends,” her rep tells PEOPLE. 

“They realized they are in different places in their lives,” a source close to the couple says. “The timing was just off. The breakup is hard for both of them, but it’s the most realistic thing at this point.”

Scott was said to be shopping for an engagement ring just a couple of weeks ago.

“Scott was in talks with the jewelry brand Yasmin & Jazmin for the past two months,” a source says. “He wanted to marry Lo, and he wanted to propose with something special and personalized.”

It sounds like Lo isn’t ready to settle down, though. Well it’s good to realize these things before getting married. She’s reportedly busy with her blog The Lo Down and on twitter. Have you checked it out?

Brooke Shields attended the opening night of the musical ‘Dear Edwina’ at the DR2 Kids Theatre in New York City. I bet she brought her daughters but protected them from the red carpet .

What do you think of her coat? That snake skin pattern makes it really unusual, doesn’t it? I don’t think it’s real snake skin, but perhaps it is. The pattern with this style of coat makes it unique. I think I’m a fan.

I still don’t know what to make of Nicollette Sheridan’s lawsuit against ABC and ‘Desperate Housewives’ creator Marc Cherry. On one hand, if she was wrongfully terminated, then she should sue. Yet making her abuse allegations after her termination makes things seem a little suspect, but it’s hard to sue a current employer…

Well, despite there being a witness to the alleged abuse, Nicollette has dropped the abuse claim from her lawsuit, according to Radar Online.

Nicollette reportedly alleged that she suffered and continues to suffer physical injury and emotional distress, so defense lawyers wanted her to undergo a physical and psychiatric evaluation.

Nicollette agreed to drop the abuse claims in return for NOT having to undergo a physical and psychiatric evaluation. She reportedly says the claims are still valid but she wants to “streamline” the case.

On one hand, I can understand not wanting to submit to a physical and psychiatric evaluation: those results end up in the court record and could be leaked to the public, but if the claims are valid…

After having quite a year, winning the Oscar (among other awards) to divorcing a cheating husband (Jessie James) to adopting a child, Sandra Bullock is preparing to return to work. And she’ll do so with George Clooney to star in the movie ‘Gravity.’

It’s the role Angelina Jolie passed on (twice) and both Scarlett Johansson and Blake Lively competed for about an astronaut’s struggle to return to earth. Robert Downey Jr. was originally attached to co-star but had to leave the project, so now it’ll be Sandra and George.

Given what a prankster George is rumored to be, he’s sure to make things fun on set for Sandra’s return to work- LOL.
