Christina Aguilera is planning to spend New Year’s Eve celebrating her 30th birthday. I can’t believe she’s just 30. For some reason, I thought she was a bit older.

Christina’s actual birthday was December 18th,  but she was a little preoccupied with promoting ‘Burlesque’.

My actual birthday was in December and I turned 30! It was a big one – the next chapter of my life. I’m a Sagittarius. But, because I was working so much on the movie, I postponed my birthday party, so New Year’s Eve is my big 30th birthday party.”

Is Aguilera upset about turning 30? Of course not! The singer turned actress says being in her 30s is actually better than being in her 20s.

“Being 30 is better than being 20, I’ll tell you that. The lessons I’ve learned and how I’ve grown is incredible.”

Hopefully, 2011 will be a better year for Christina’s music career. She’s gotten slammed pretty hard for her latest album.
