Last night,  Estelle celebrated her New Year’s Eve handling the official countdown to midnight at Tryst Nightclub. I am just loving her black mini-dress and it looks like the singer got extensions. I love Estelle with short hair, but this look also suits her nicely.

After the countdown, the singer performed her latest single “Freak” for the crowd.

Estelle celebrated into the early hours of the morning with close friends including Julissa Bermudez, the MTV host most famous for hosting the station’s reality show reunion episodes.

Kelly Bensimon from ‘The Real Housewives of NYC’ was photographed working out on a stationary bike for the New Year at the FRS Fuels NYC Trucks. When asked what her New Years Resolution were, Kelly said ”to be a better listener” and that “this is the year for love”.

We shall see!! Kelly is always a fun one to keep tabs on.

Check out the dress that Rihanna wore while ringing in the New Year at Pure Nightclub in Caesar’s Palace. Sheer clothing is IN for 2011, and Rihanna wasted no time getting in on the trend with her see through number.

The singer was joined by 10 close friends and there was a rumor that Matt Kemp might stop by, but no luck. Guess these two really are calling it quits.

Just before midnight, Rihanna took center stage as she amped up the crowd by getting on the mic and prepping them for the anticipated countdown to 2011. With only 10 seconds left in 2010, she lead the countdown to midnight followed by raising her glass and toasting the packed club and wishing everyone a Happy New Year

So who did you watch for the ball drop 2011: Snooki and the ‘Jersey Shore’ gang (after her ball drop wasn’t allowed) or the traditional ball drop in Times Square? If you were like (I suspect) a lot of people, you probably stuck with the traditional ball drop in Times Square . Or maybe you weren’t even awake- LOL.

I’m pretty sure the drop was taped (the thumbnails below are from the taping that took place yesterday afternoon). Snooki, The Situation, and J-Woww posted the picture above of themselves saying they were ready to party right before midnight.

Earlier this week I showed you pictures of Kim Kardashian with a new hairstyle: cornrows. She was spotted wearing the breads as she left a workout at the gym.

Yesterday Kim was spotted getting ready to leave for Las Vegas to host a New Year’s Eve party. Her hair was unbraided. I think I prefer it that way, but I’ve gotta ask (you can check out the difference in the thumbnails below):

Here’s ‘Burlesque‘ star Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, enjoying a New Year’s Eve lunch at the Ivy. They were probably gearing up for quite a celebration, since they spent the evening celebrating Christina’s 30th birthday in addition to the New Year!

Christina does NOT look happy to be having her picture taken. Normally I can understand this, but I’m a little confused this time. The Ivy is a very well-known paparazzi hang out. If you don’t want to encounter them, that’s one of the last restaurants you should be going to!

Maybe a paparazzo said something? Well, I hope Christina had a great birthday/New Year’s Eve celebration last night.
