With production on ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ set to begin in May, the search for its stars is underway. Rumor has it that Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Keira Knightley, Kate Mara, and Gemma Arterton are all under consideration for the female lead.

Christopher Nolan reportedly is expecting Anne, Jessica, and Keira to complete screen tests this month. The only thing that’s unclear is if they are testing for the love interest or the female villain.

Hmm..which of these leading ladies would make for a good love interest opposite Christian Bale? I wonder if Maggie Gyllenhaal will return as Rachel? Or maybe Katie Holmes will come back?

Holly Madison didn’t have a whole lot to say at first about Hugh Hefner’s engagement news, but that’s all changed, apparently. Holly chatted with Life & Style and dished a LOT more of her feelings on the subject.

“I’d like to see Hef settle down, I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he’s making a hasty decision. I’m not sure Crystal is the best thing for him.

Crystal hasn’t been around very long — she’s a mysterious character,” says Holly. “No one knows much about her. Plus, she’s very young, probably too young to settle down. I’ve seen a lot of girls try to date Hef, and some have ulterior motives. I don’t think it would be a bad idea for him to get to know her a little better. I think it’s possible Crystal could break Hef’s heart. They could end up divorcing, and she could take half his money.”

Holly even met up with the couple to “check things out for herself” (and also with her film crew for “Holly’s World” in tow).

“I told them that I wish them the best and that Crystal had better not do him wrong or else I’ll kick her butt. It was definitely awkward.”

“I’m not jealous that he’d marry someone else. I just don’t want it to be a girl who’s using him to start her career,” she tells Life & Style. “Basically, I think he could do better than Crystal.”

Wow, that’s a little different than what she said the other day about the news.

Back in November we got a sneak peek of ‘Battle: Los Angeles‘, but today the full theatrical trailer was released. The film stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Bridget Moynahan, and Lucas Till.

Are you a fan of action thrillers? I am not normally big on “invasion” storylines, but this just looks so real and intense! I’m easily swayed by good trailer editing! LOL!

Nicole Kidman used to be the butt of every Botox joke because of the way it just seemed to freeze her face. The actress admits that that she’s used it in the past, but says she’s done with it!

“I’ve tried a lot of things, but aside from sports and good nutrition, most things don’t make a difference. ”

“I have also tried Botox. I didn’t like how my face looked afterwards,” she says. “Now I don’t use it anymore – I can move my forehead again!”

I’m so glad she isn’t using it anymore – she is so gorgeous naturally and doesn’t need any injections messing with that beauty! I don’t know many stars who look GOOD after Botox.

We’ll get to see Nicole shine next week at the Golden Globe Awards – she’s nominated for her role in “The Rabbit Hole“. Have you seen it yet? I really want to, but need to be in the right frame of mind for the subject matter.

Nicki Minaj is featured in V Magazine’s latest issue “The Discovery Issue”, which hits newsstands tomorrow.

In it, she shares that despite having a team, she has the final say on everything:

“Everything I do has been approved by me personally. My team is mostly made up of guys, but none of them would ever think about telling me what to wear or what to do with my hair. They know that ultimately I’m gonna do what I’m gonna do.”

On wanting to be remembered:

“I’m an entertainer – I like to make people laugh,” she says. “Some will hate it and some will love it, but all will remember it. And that’s what I want: to be remembered. Even if I’m saying something hard-core or controversial, there’s always a touch of humor, and if you don’t like it, it means I’m stirring things up inside of you.”

On being herself, but ever-changing:

“I just always want to do ‘me,’ but ‘me’ changes every day. I would crumble up and die if I had to wake up and be the same person every day. I don’t silence those voices anymore. I just let them speak.”

I think Nicki is only going to be more popular this year – she’s on the rise!
