Kate Beckinsale was snapped as she arrived at LAX today with husband Len Wiseman and daughter Lily Sheen. Kate was sporting a drastic new hair color – blonde!

At first glance I thought she looked shocking like Sienna Miller. Then I went to iMDb to see if she was working on a movie that maybe called for the blonde hair. Turns out she did just start a movie – and it co-stars Sienna Miller. Too funny!

Paris Hilton took her pet pups over to visit a friend in Los Angeles today. I don’t see a camera crew, so I wonder if she’s on break from filming her show? I have to admit that I’m a teeny bit curious to check it out when it airs.

Sandra Bullock was photographed leaving her apartment in NY this afternoon with son Louis in tow. I understand her desire to shield him from the photogs, but toss us a bone! I want to see this little cutie pie once in a while!!

“Couples Retreat” actress Malin Akerman is excited to start work on the Linda Lovelace movie “Inferno”, but she admits it was a little weird to take over the role after Lindsay Lohan decided to focus on getting better.

She shared:

“Of course [it was so awkward] but it will be a wonderful journey. … [Lovelace] was a survivor. Unfortunately she’s not with us anymore, but her life was really incredible and I am excited for that to come out.”

Malin says she’s thrown herself into researching and getting to know as much as she can about Linda Lovelace:

“I’m just trying to do all my research and really get the character right,” she said. “I’m reading her book and I’m reading any kind of information that I can get my hands on.”

No word yet on when the film will start shooting. It feels like we’ve been talking about it for so long – it should be done already!

‘Avatar’ actor Sam Worthington shared that after the huge success of that movie, he turned to Russell Crowe for advice on dealing with fame. He told Britain’s Elle magazine:

“We Aussie actors all know each other. I’ve asked Russell Crowe for advice over the years. He’s really helped me out a lot. There’s no school that can tell you how to handle things like losing your anonymity.

Russell’s advice for Sam? Be good to the fans.

“(He told me) to handle it with sensitivity. It’s hard to ask someone for their autograph. So if someone asks me, why snub them? They’re braver than I am and deserve my respect.”

Wow, I’m a little shocked at Russell’s advice, but he seems to loathe being famous.

Next up for Sam is the flick we’ve been watching him film for a while now: “Man on a Ledge“.
