Paris Hilton continues to film her new reality show this week. The socialite and reality star was spotted stopping over at her sister’s house in Beverly Hills, toting along her precious puppy. I wonder if she realizes that her dress is totally see-through with the sunlight hitting it? Even with that extra layer of fabric under it, you can totally make out the silhouette of her legs, etc. Yikes! It’s a gorgeous dress, but hopefully the paps didn’t get any “unflattering” shots!

After Paris left, Nicky Hilton was spotted heading out to get her fitness on. She definitely keeps things low-key compared to her sister. I wonder if Nicky will be featured in the new reality show at all?

Just a few weeks ago Jon Bon Jovi was saying that he wouldn’t rule out acting in his future, but it was very far down on his list of priorities. However, the singer had a change of heart – he just signed on to join the cast of “New Year’s Eve“.

Jon is set to play a rock star who once dumped Halle Berry’s character in the movie. Playing Halle Berry’s former flame – not a bad gig for his return to acting. The movie is along the same line of ‘Valentine’s Day‘, but will follow the lives of a group of New Yorkers this time around.

Some of the other actors already signed on: Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Hilary Swank, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jessica Biel and Ashton Kutcher. It looks Ashton will be playing the same character as he did in Valentine’s Day, so I’m guessing Jessica Biel will be, too?

Sophie Monk, 31, announced today that she is engaged to businessman Jimmy Esebag, 50 (seen above in the photo with her). She dropped the news during an interview this morning:

” I got engaged! He’s a keeper. It feels right,” she added. “I think you know when you know.”

Jimmy is the chairman of United Licensing Group, which owns the rights to the Playboy brand, and is also involved with Elite Modeling Agency. Sophie shared that the two have been friends for some time. She shared on her Facebook page:

“It’s going to be a good year. My best friend of a long, long time just happens to be my soul partner; funny how life takes you where you are finally meant to be.”

Congrats to the happy couple!

Sophie was previously engaged to Benji Madden, but they split back in 2008.

After filming two movies together, ‘Arthur’ and ‘The Tempest’, Helen Mirren and Russell Brand have bonded in a big way. Russell even shared in his latest memoir that he gave Helen a yellow pair of his own underwear, which she plans to frame, she shared.

At Sunday’s Producer’s Guild Awards she was asked about the “unique gift”:

I’m going to frame them and hang them over my bed”

Helen had nothing but high praise for her comedic co-star:

“He’s so cool. He’s fabulous. We’re really close friends. I wear the pin he gave me around my neck.”

With Helen’s sassy sense of humor, I can absolutely see these two as good friends.

“I actually don’t own a pair of jeans. This is an odd confession but I realized when I was into building our family, that if I had jeans and t-shirts in my wardrobe, it’s what I would end up wearing all the time with so many children.

“So I had to kind of not have them, to force myself to not fall into that every day.”
