Isla Fisher was spotted leaving a friend’s house this afternoon before heading to school to pick up her daughter Olive in West Hollywood. Isla’s voice is co-starring with Johnny Depp’s voice in the upcoming animated flick “Rango”.

Padma Lakshmi’s reps have fired back at Adam Dell for sharing private family matters with the press regarding the visitation issues with their daughter Krishna, 11 months.

Her rep tells Us Weekly:

“Ms. Lakshmi believes that family matters should be kept private. She asks that those who join her in wanting the best for her daughter do the same.

24 hours after the New York Post was told about Adam Dell’s lawsuit, neither Padma Lakshmi nor her lawyers has received a copy of it; they only learned of it through a statement Mr. Dell provided to the press.

Ms. Lakshmi’s sole interest lies in preserving the privacy and welfare of her daughter and in working out and fair and amicable agreement out of the media’s glare.”

Well, hopefully these two will sort this out away from the press going forward. Hopefully.

Rocker Bret Michaels was discharged from the hospital today after having heart surgery on Monday. Bret underwent surgery to repair a hole in his heart and has been sent hone to rest up:

Bret is recuperating at home with his family. He is looking forward to enjoying time with Kristi and his daughters as well as getting back on the road.”

Bret’s doctor shared:

Because of the successful outcome and Bret’s determination, I believe he will be able to return to normal activity within weeks,”

I really hope he has some AMAZING health insurance! With all of the hospitalizations he’s undergone in the last year – he must have racked up a ton in bills. Maybe this is part of his motivation in being such a workaholic? Hopefully he’s all done with medical issues for the time being so he can focus on his family and upcoming nuptials?

James McAvoy recently shared that despite working the film “Gnomeo and Juliet” for over three years, he never got the chance to meet his idol Sir Elton John, a producer of the animated film.

“Do you know what? I have yet to meet the fantastic Elton John. I’m a total fan of his music and I’ve been working on this film for I think three years.

Despite his best efforts, their schedules just never crossed paths at the right moment:

“Every day I would come to work and I would kind of be hoping that that would be the day Elton would be there but he was never there when I was there. I was absolutely gutted. I thought, ‘Am I performing badly? Does he not like the film?’”

Hmmm. I wonder if they finally met at the film’s premiere? They were both on the blue carpet – hopefully James was able to finally make the meeting happen! On another note..doesn’t he have the dreamiest blue eyes you’ve ever seen? Sigh.

Tara Reid has been looking so good! Here she is leaving the Valentino show in Paris with her boyfriend. I really hope she can get herself back on the map with movies and TV -it’s been 3 years, but she does have two movies coming out this year.

Halle Berry was spotted running errands in Hollywood this morning. The actress is reportedly on the hunt for schools for daughter Nahla. Here she is checking out a few of them on her own today. I wonder if Halle is one of those moms who got on the “waiting lists” when she was pregnant? Did you have to do anything like that – registering years ahead of time?
