Joel Madden Fed Up With Nicole Richie’s Expensive Shopping Habits

This story just cracks me up for some reason. I mean, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have all the money in the world. And the means to continue earning crazy amounts of money. But, Joel is still worried about Nicole’s expensive habits.
“Do you ever look at your credit card bill and ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS,”
“I mean, can’t we just go to Target and get our pillows??? [Shaking My Head'."
"Needless to say, the pillows are going back to the expensive ass pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows I'm putting in their place!...Trust me the pillows were gone before i even tweeted!"
On one hand, three thousand dollars for a pillow is INSANE. It's nice to see that Joel still has enough of a grip on reality to realize that's not normal. On the other hand, three thousand dollars to them is probably like $50 dollars to you and I.
But maybe Joel is right. Nicole DOES shop like it's her job.

How the fk can they spend like that? His band sucks and she is unemployed–not an actress–not a singer–???
Good to see Joel is grounded..!
They were raised in completely different ways. She had a famous rich father and could probably always have what she wanted, Joel had single mom raising 4 kids and couldn’t even afford school lunches. Of course he’s going to be more grounded and realize that kind of spending is insane.
I wouldn’t take it THAT serious, considering he posted this on his Twitter…
She always comes across as the poster child for low self esteem. She seems like she gets her “value” from material things. The more expensive the item – the more “valuable” she feels. I see it every day – it’s actually pretty sad – maybe not in hollywood – but definitely in reality.
