Well, I haven’t heard the greatest things about Ryan Phillippe as a husband or boyfriend, but it looks like he takes being a father seriously. Ryan is awaiting the results of a paternity test to see if he is the father of now ex-girlfriend Alexis Knapp’s baby.

“In all likelihood, Ryan’s not doing or saying anything publicly until there’s a paternity test that proves he’s the father,” says a source close to the actor.

And although the pregnancy came as a surprise to the public, “Ryan has known from the very beginning,” adds the first source. “As soon as she found out, she told him. She found out she was pregnant while she was filming [her upcoming movie] So Undercover.”

Although Ryan has supposedly moved on romantically to Amanda Seyfried, he is said to be willing to fulfill his responsibilities as a father. I wonder if this is part of the reason he and Amanda are keeping such a low profile as a couple?
