Kelly Ripa Rides A Fake Horse In NYC

Okay, I apparently missed something on “Live with Regis and Kelly” this morning! Kelly Ripa was snapped riding this fake horse outside the studio while filming a segment for the show today.
Viewers – fill me in!! WHAT is she doing on this “horse”? I’m dying to know now! At first glance it looked like a real horse covered in some sort of costume, but then I noticed the men underneath and looked at the closeup shots! Freaky.

It’s probably to promote the amazing play Warhorse here in NYC
the horse are from a Broadway play which was featured on the show. Bruno Tonioli who was filling in for Regis took his shirt off and mounted the “fake horse” during the show—I guess Kelly wanted to try it out for herself after the show or maybe this was a publicity shot taken for the show to use in their advertising.
What brand is this jacket? I’ve seen it at several celebrities.
