Congratulations are in order for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon! The happy couple welcomed their boy and girl twins today at 12:07 p.m. at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles. Mariah‘s personal rep Cindi Berger, confirmed the births to The Associated Press saying:

“The baby girl was born first, weighing 5 lbs., 3 oz., and was 18 inches long; her brother was next, at 5 lbs. 6 oz., and was 19 inches.”

The couple has quite a bit to celebrate, not only did they become first time parents, they are also celebrating their third anniversary today! People.com asked Berger whether the birth was planned to coincide with their anniversary and she said:

“No, not even Mariah could plan that.”

Apparently Mariah and Nick listened to “We Belong Together” right after the babies were born! Berger gave PEOPLE some more details saying:

“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting,” she added. “When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and they nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward, and I said to her, ‘that’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed.”

I am SO excited for them! No names have been released to the press yet although Cannon did say back in January that they were aiming for unique – not wacky.

‘Glee’ is still shooting their season finale in New York City. Can you imagine the looks they’re getting for people who don’t know about the show ‘Glee’? Those outfits are so colorful!

It’s nice to see a show that’s so different (like a musical) doing so well. Then again, I’m one of the people who wished ‘Pushing Daisies’ had been given some time to grow .

Abigail Breslin was spotted out and about in New York City. She looks like she’s keeping a very low profile. I know she was filming ‘New Year’s Eve’ with Sarah Jessica Parker; I’m not sure if Abigail’s based in LA or New York.

Sharon Stone, meanwhile, was spotted looking relaxed on the west coast in Los Angeles. I wonder what she’s up to these days?

Are you ready for the return of reality TV personality Heidi Montag? I hope so, because it looks like Heidi Montag is preparing her return! Yesterday we saw Heidi and Danielle Staub bonding. On camera.

Now we can see that they took things outside. The cameras rolled the whole time, of course. I’m afraid to even ask “Where’s Spencer?” Maybe if we don’t talk about He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named then we won’t see him. (Hey, you can always hope ).

I’m not sure why the soldiers were there, but Paris Hilton probably had fun posing with them on the red carpet! She was joined by many celebs at the 18th annual Race to Erase MS event last night.
