Although TMZ originally reported that Whitney Houston had entered an out-patient treatment program for “cleansing reasons”, the singer’s rep has told PEOPLE otherwise.

“Whitney Houston is currently in an out-patient rehab program for drug and alcohol treatment,” her rep tells PEOPLE in a statement. “Whitney voluntarily entered the program to support her long-standing recovery process.”

We just saw Whitney a couple of days ago arriving at The Forum in Los Angeles to catch Prince in concert. She looked a little woozy….

Hopefully the rehab is successful this time around. We wish Whitney nothing but the best!
