Shia LaBeouf Says Megan Fox Couldn’t Handle Being A Sex Symbol

Hmmm… now this is NOT something I would’ve expected anyone to say about Megan Fox! While doing press for ‘Transformer’s 3: Dark Side of the Moon,’ Shia LaBeouf offered his take on what went wrong with Megan Fox.
“Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with [director] Michael Bay, who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women.
“Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It’s summer. It’s Michael’s style. And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it,” he explained. “This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it.”
So what makes things different with Shia’s new co-star, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley?
“Rosie comes with this Victoria’s Secret background, and she’s comfortable with it, so she can get down with Mike’s way of working and it makes the whole set vibe very different.”
I don’t know if I buy this, but hey, Megan has been with Brian Austin Green for a long time, and by all accounts seems to be a dedicated stepmother. Maybe it was the pressure to live up to the sex symbol image that led to the “lies” Megan regrets? What do you think?

“Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality.” If this is true, no wonder she doesn’t want to deal with whole bunch of pervs!
