If 2011 has been a banner year for any celeb its Australian import Rose Byrne. The Bridesmaid beauty starred in the surprising summer smash at the box office, alongside SNL vets Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph, as well as holding her own against a band of mutants in this month’s X-Men: First Class. But need we not forget that Rose has another job too! A starring role on the FX series Damages.

The busy brunette hit the red carpet, along with co-star Glenn Close, and other celebs like Lance Bass and John Goodman for the show’s fourth season premiere in New York. Rose naturally stood out amongst the attendees by daring to be different in dramatic rose-colored lipstick, while sporting beige printed frock, paired with a thin brown belt and silver pumps.

This look may not scream “safe” to red carpet critics, but its definitely safe to say that Rose hit a home run with this number!
