Reese Witherspoon was spotted doing some shopping yesterday afternoon. I wonder what she picked up? It’s always good to treat yourself to something every once in a while, right?

Reese has had a pretty low-key summer after she got married last spring and then had to do the promotional tour for her movie with ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson, ‘Water for Elephants.’

Jake Gyllenhaal has been hard at work shooting his new movie, ‘End of Watch,’ (co-starring America Ferrera), so it looks like he’s taking full advantage of some time off to just relax.

I guess that’s the life of a working actor: work hard for long hours, then relax and wait for the next job to come along. I don’t know if Jake’s done with this movie yet, but I doubt he’ll have to wait long for his next job.

Summer hiatus is clearly over for the ‘Gossip Girl’ cast! We’ve been seeing pictures of them shooting their upcoming season for the past couple of weeks. Here’s Blake Lively, Ed Westwick, and Kelly Rutherford shooting scenes in Queens.

Blake and Leighton Meester were both nice enough to pose for pictures with fans on set: that would be a fun show to stumble upon while their filming.

It looks like Rihanna’s vacation at home in Barbados is over: here she is leaving a Santa Monica restaurant after having dinner there.

You know, I just now realized that the clown red hair is GONE. I have to admit, I’m a much bigger fan of this hair color: at least it’s one that could naturally grow from one’s head- LOL.

As usual, Rihanna looks pulled together in her long dress, topped with a blazer. Effortlessly chic.

Jennifer Garner’s got a little ballerina! Here she is taking Violet to her ballet class. Violet looks like she was ready to go on the escalator .

I wonder if Violet prefers competitive sports, like soccer, or more artistic activities, like ballet (although ballet can get pretty competitive if you get serious about it)? Time will tell, when we see what she continues to do, I guess.

Joy Behar married her companion of 29 years, Steve Janowitz, on Thursday evening! Joy talked on ‘The View’ about their plans to finally tie the knot but then called off the wedding plans, saying she had “cold feet.” She’s always struck me as being funny yet sensible, so I wonder what changed her mind.

“She was married in New York City last night in a private ceremony,” a rep for ['The View'] tells PEOPLE. “She will discuss it on Sept. 6 on The View when the show returns for the 15th season.”

All I can say is, Steve is one PATIENT man- LOL. Congratulations!
