Abercrombie & Fitch Willing To Pay The Situation & MTV To NOT Wear Their Line On ‘Jersey Shore’

The Situation and other members of the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast like to wear Abercrombie & Fitch. Apparently, Abercrombie & Fitch feel some customers are NOT worth having. They have offered to pay The Situation, MTV, and other cast members of ‘Jersey Shore’ to NOT wear their clothes.
“We are deeply concerned that Mr. Sorrentino’s association with our brand could cause significant damage to our image,” a representative from A&F’s brand senses department wrote.
“We understand that the show is for entertainment purposes, but believe this association is contrary to the aspirational nature of our brand, and may be distressing to many of our fans. We have therefore offered a substantial payment to Michael ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and the producers of MTV’s The Jersey Shore to have the character wear an alternate brand. We have also extended this offer to other members of the cast, and are urgently waiting a response.”
OUCH. Well, at least it’s more money in their pockets…
Disclaimer: I have no idea if The Situation, DJ Pauly D, or Snooki are wearing Abercrombie & Fitch in these pictures

Puh-leese! Stupid A&F. I worked for them once. They had all these rules about nail polish, shoes, and bra straps. They are not about the individual, but rather into conforming a population of impressionable youth with their cheaply made, mass produced threads. From the outside, I was seduced, too. However, after seeing the inside of their company and policies, you couldn’t pay me to wear their stuff anymore. This is just another example of how snotty and superficial the company is. If you ask me, we should all be free to wear what pleases us, and to ask a certain group of people, actually, pay them not to wear the products is both sick and sad.
Really? I don’t get it. I think The Sitch is a perfect representation of their core market; stupid people who like to over-pay for crap.
You have got to be kidding….they should be lucky all people are buying their clothes, that’s why they almost went to bankruptsy because of their dump ass ideas!!!
I think it’s so dumb that all these clothing companies are trying to tell all the people on tv wearing their brands not to wear them like Gary from Teen Mom was told by Aeropostale not to wear their clothes. Come on, if someone is gonna buy the clothes let them and let them wear them.
