I don’t know if I believe this, between the fact that it was Ashlee Simpson who filed for divorce from husband Pete Wentz and is now dating Vincent Piazza, but Us Weekly claims she is also drunk dialing Pete.

“Ashlee was telling Pete how much she misses him and wants him back,” says the source; a rep for Simpson denies the call ever took place.

A friend of Pete’s claims that Ashlee’s even asked her sister Jessica for help in how to win Pete back. but it’s a No Go.

“He will never go back to her,” the pal says. “He’s in a good place.”

I’m glad to hear Pete’s moving on, especially since Ashlee already seems to have done so. What do you think of this story: Fact or Fiction? I’m voting Fiction for this one.
