Doesn’t ‘Melancholia’ starKirsten Dunst look FAB on the cover of Canada’s ‘FLARE’ magazine? She’s rocking a red Giambattista Valli top and skirt. Here are some excerpts from her interview:
On her treatment for depression in 2008:
“I think that most human beings go through some sort of depression in their life. And if they don’t, I think that’s weird.”
On the stigma attached to depression:
“People are embarrassed to talk about it…I would never put anyone down that was in that kind of space.”
On surprising herself with her raw performance in ‘Melancholia’:
“It was really hard for me to watch because I don’t recognize myself in parts of that film. It weirds me out a little bit. Like my voice change, this look in my eye. It scared me a little bit.”
On not dating actors:
“I haven’t dated an actor in a very long time. I’ve dated someone for a pretty long time now who’s not an actor [Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell], and it works better.”
On her personal style:
“I’m not someone who’s like, ‘This is my brand’…I’m not obsessed with clothes or into fads. I don’t need the It bags.”
