Irish Farmer Tells Rihanna To Cover Up

Posted on September 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM

Remember these pictures of Rihanna filming a new music video, ‘We Found Love’? Rihanna was shooting the video on an Irish farm. When the farmer saw the singer (and her outfit), he wasn’t too pleased. He explained to the BBC:

“I thought it was inappropriate. I requested them to stop and they did. I had my conversation with Rihanna and I hope she understands where I’m coming from. We shook hands.

“From my point of view, it was my land, I have an ethos and I felt it was inappropriate. I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”

The farmer said he didn’t know Rihanna was the singer in the video, although being told that information wouldn’t have made a difference.

“I didn’t know who was coming. If the name ‘Rihanna’ had been mentioned, well, no disrespect but it wouldn’t have meant anything.”

I’m sure Rihanna was surprised, but it sounds like the farmer was respectful, at least. I bet they’ll shoot this on a studio lot instead ;) .

  1. before u know it the yrs will pass by & she’ll be in her late 20s still single or dating losers that will have no respect for her. she acts like a silly drunk! and refers to herself as a cunt & a whore!!! people may think it’s cute now, but if she doesn’t clean herself up she’s going to crash & burn soon. i feel sorry 4 the young kids that look up to this potty mouthed girl

  2. I live in Ireland, and this story made it to the main news here. She took off her bikini top and frolicked topless in the field which is why the farmer was annoyed. He was also unhappy with her gyrating dance movements.
