Hugh Jackman, who is celebrating his 43rd birthday today, stopped by the Rachael Ray Show to chat about marriage, talents, and his favorite food.

Hugh’s guilty pleasure:
“Lasagna. I love lasagna. And I don’t know what it is, but breakfast cereal at eleven o’clock at night.”

His hidden talent:
“I can juggle fire sticks.”

Hugh says his most romantic moment was proposing to his wife:
“Probably the proposal, when I proposed to my wife. I had the ring sitting there for about six weeks. So I said to my wife “let’s go for a little jog in the botanical gardens”. Meanwhile, my friend is in the pagoda, you know, in the botanical gardens setting up breakfast. So we had the table, white table cloth, the champagne, the everything. The croissants, the roses. I’ve never been more nervous in my life. I’m looking outside and it’s raining. So we finally get there and we walk down and my wife, now wife, starts launching into this whole thing about this job she’s doing and this second assistant director who she’s not getting on well with and she goes “I hated this, and that” And I’m going please don’t start talking about this now. This is not a good atmosphere. I’m about to propose. Anyway we turn the corner and she sees the table. Now there’s no rain, just clouds. The table’s there. And she goes “Oh, oh my God that’s so beautiful.” And I said “Surprise.” And she goes “This is for me?” And she starts crying. And I had a whole plan: middle of the breakfast, I was going to pretend I’d gotten bitten by an ant or get down on one knee–do the whole thing. At that moment, she’s crying, my heart is beating. I was like I’ve got to do it. I’ve got to do it now. And I’m like ok, I’ve got to come up with a line. And literally at that point, the clouds open, the sun comes out. I said “look babe, the suns out, it’s almost perfect.” And she says “What do you mean almost perfect? It is perfect!” And I said “Well, it will be if you marry me.”
